problem now is there's no obvious expenential revenue possibles as they were with the hbe and Uvisan (calling it a 'division' was a bit fanciful). i'd be happy if they've got new on selling them on but maybe Uvisan needs the winter rise in flu/covid to get that one off. not sure if Vodiac are a company that might take the hbe off them? personally, i found it almost unusable and clumsy. spent more time making the cube work than 'enjoying' the experience.
best news is tat the US had a good summer and all revenue is in $. the growth in the lbe is far too slow, though and doesn't look like it's growing sufficiently to make folk sit up and listen. that said, if i can get 15% out of it tomorrow that'd do me... anything over 4p, will be good... be better at 4.5 to sell.
better not be delayed, though... they promised september so tomorrow's last day.
There’s trust pilot reviews from July and September so immo are still punting it. It’s still on their website for £49.99 with lifetime viewing. Whatever that means. Also still for sale on the usual retainer.
Nice to see someone is still buying before results tomorrow 20k buy.
Not sure what to expect tbf. Not getting over enthusiastic so any good surprises will be welcome.
I thought they had given up on this one.
On the eve of results they have added some new content and it’s very good. Including some decent documentaries .
Not sure where they are going with this .
Good point, over 20% higher, so should have a positive impact on Revenue.
Revenue from Location Based Entertainment for the whole of last year was £6.3million. From the trading statement in August '22: "unaudited LBE revenue for the seven months to 31 July 2022 to £5.7m" so almost the same as the previous year with another 5 month trading to go! Bodes well for the rest of the year.
Since last October, the USD has gone from being worth 73p to now being almost 90p.
Bearing in mind that most of the business comes from the States, this could have a significant impact on profitability.
Unaudited revenue at the Group's core Location Based Entertainment ("LBE") business for H1 2022 almost doubled to £4.4m (from £2.3m in H1 2021).
In addition, the LBE business is currently enjoying very strong trading in the key summer period, with unaudited July 2022 revenue of £1.3m being the division's best ever month. This takes unaudited LBE revenue for the seven months to 31 July 2022 to £5.7m, a 78% increase from £3.2m in the equivalent period in 2021.
August 2022 has also started very strongly.
Decent trades ahead of results - added today as well :-)
Massive positive for the company, Cenkos has a great growth companies team. I've been thinking for a while that a change of broker was needed.
AIM stocks have really suffered this year so seeing the share price at this level is no surprise. No need to panic, hopefully some more positive news flow around the corner.
It’s actually really hard to have a clue what’s happening at the moment.
You used to be able to find snippets of useful information here and there, but recently at times it feels like they have turned the lights off and left the building.
Disconcerting that people don’t mention Gorilla trek in their trip advisor reports from the zoos.
It might be that they are doing another placing, or perhaps Merlin will snap up the main offering .
That’s as good a guess as any.
Long time since they initially mentioned it.
RNS this morning could this mean the spin offs are about to be announced. Change of Nomad and director disclosures.
Maybe. Any guesses ?
Wish this seller would clear.
Easy to shift a million at full bid price today.
Previous similar situations have always led to a decent rise in price over the coming days.
Perhaps spin off news looming.
nm
expecting the sp to be right back where it used to be the day after Sept26 results. slow climb to... 5 (?) up to that point then we'll see if the expected news moves this up to year highs.
sp has been trashed over the past year, almost halved. be good to get at least 30% of it back today and in the coming weeks. next news is the big one for clearing the decks
gla.
not sure i understand the comment about a share split on any spin off.
Well, if Martin Higginson is going to have any credibility, going forward, then these results should be very good .
He said they were in good place , and that the business model was working during his recent Vox markets interview.
So far , there has been no reason not to trust him.
Could also be another raise , but they would need to have a very robust plan going forward to convince me to stay invested .
I agree with both your points and as ever reference the share price never lies I would apply the 80/20 rule as there’s always exceptions.
I would also like to thing the share price is down to the spins offs split and also hope there is value in them. Let’s see how it all comes out in the wash as my grandma used to say.
Good luck
Not sure that I would agree that the 'share price never lies' I have had a nice run up from 600 to 900 in the past two weeks on no news in watr.
The problem for most small/micro caps at the moment is that there are no larger buyers. The big boys are generally avoiding this sector at the moment because of the recession risk . I read an article a couple of weeks ago where F&C said that they had sold all of their small caps holdings to 'de-risk' for this reason.
I don't think that we will see a very large re-rate even on good results as there are so many other 'bargain' small caps (and mid caps) around. So long as the next trading update is OK I will be happy enough to see us back in the mid 4's for now with the prospect of a more significant step up next year.
Personally , I would be delighted if they can find value in the other parts of the business but I am not expecting it.
Sorry for repetition .
Was posting via my phone and thought It had not gone through.
I think it’s more do with a looming share split as they hive off the two other parts.
Funny how the market always knows first .
It makes it feel like you are playing on a bent table.
I’m talking about last year reference handouts and furlough money which we haven’t got this year. Have the revenues covered these and more. Not sure ?
The market always know before we do. They had handouts in Q1 and furlough money. Not sure just guessing but you know what they say the share price never lies. Anyhow we do have a seller.
That’s the only thing I’m right about ( probably).
Think you might be wrong, I reckon the figures will be ok and it’s a spin off issue.
Anyway, how come the market seems to know before official news ?
