DMC sometimes the price doesn’t always reflect reality but its the most important. The price will end up at ‘x’ but its never a case of it just galloping there, number of factors and games are played on the journey there so you might have a bad day along the way (typically when mm’s are collecting shares - they send paid deramper’s onto boards like these to spread fear and then sell them back to you at a higher price).
Once you’ve done your own research and are content with the decision you’ve made, you wait until you hit your target price (mine here has always been 10p) and exit.
Thanks folks, top advice there.
I’m with top on this tend to go off gut and what I know but am relatively new to shares and got suckered.
We all make mistakes the trick is too not keep repeating them.
I’ve ballsed up on Kier and this but done well on Thomas Cook and Europa.
Also Top in your summary earlier you missed adding the recent changes that have resulted in savings of over 7million and contracts signed already worth 43 million which makes us profitable.
Top i bought into TLA at 0.50 and averaged down at 0.42.
I bought considerable amount here at 0.67-0.75 (Canacon will vouch for me) i then added a large chunk on a dip at 2.10 and im currently holding 500k shares.
My resolve was tested at 2.5 range similar to DMC who ended up selling, i was thinking of top slicing but what convinced me was the fact we’re fully funded until 2020, have a number of opportunities lined up, coupled with the minuscule free float (approx 10% of issued capital) i decided to hold it all and im glad i did.
The guys that deramp target those that haven’t done any research and are ‘rolling the dice’ theres plenty of buyers/sellers that dont bother ever taking 2 minutes to read rns releases and make an educated decision of their own, instead are influenced by crap they read on here (whether thats a ramp or deramp) so if someones swayed one way by reading crap its very easy to sway them the other. People who actually take time to read like you aren’t as easily swayed, luckily.
This has plenty of legs in it, any contract news and this rockets, continued buying pressure here will only result in this moving higher and higher - so little shares available it was hard getting a quote for few hundred pounds worth of stock most the day. GL
I might add I MAKE so many right calls when I digest RNS and act on my own instinct than I ever do listening to posters on here!
I bought TLA a while back 0.09 sold 1.5p after reading some BS on LSE and boy do I regret that. especially the day they went to 5p or so.
Best advice is do your own homework and that way you will get a feel for each firm. Ive been investing for 10 years drives me nuts some days but so far this year im outperforming
Best do some more of your own research before jumping in with more money just be careful that's all . You know what aims like ! atb
Thanks Top,
Might be worth a cheeky £1k if i can get in on the bounce in the morning and hope they get up to 12.
Thanks for the info.
DMC sorry to hear that not difficult to see why you sold I was met with a wall of noise saying pump and dump when it first bounced. I personally see this being taken private and see a fair bit more upside from here certainly 6p+ with the right news 12p
Hi All,
Well done to you all who held on I got out at 2.5p a few weeks ago (big mistake as I took a small loss but needed the funds for another share).
Rather Annoying to see it now at 4.5p, do you believe there is much more to come from this share ?
Many thanks and well done all
