Just 20million shares...down from 50m
They will only consolidate if they are already in talks with a potential target company. In which case ...depending if the target company are amicable to the Rto it may be completed within 6 months.. so not heading for delisting.
Why suspend?
Well, the current trading facility will have to be eound down re stock market ruling....so you cannot trade during this period. Once Icon informs the market of Rto intentions the winding down process takes over and we suspend
A problem could arise if the target company backd out at pre-aggreement stage leaving Icon to find another potential target If this happens we could face delisting. Target companies have the right to change their mind if legally advised to do so within certain time frames/parameters.
They will suspend for an RTO which could take 6 months 2 yrs Often delisting then the shares apportioned with the target company. It won't be pkain sailing UNLESS they have already been approached by a potential company looking to get a stock market listing. But if it is their intention to SEEK and approach potential companies, then then could get one knock back after another. It us normally a long process and ONLY usually becomes feasible if we have carry over debts for the 'new' joint venture to offset against tax liabilities. I wonder how they propose to settle our outstanding debt with EHGOF? Could they pose an impossible problem with legal intentions?
Will they need to suspend like with Aim companies when doing an RTO????
Exactly hopingforbags
Consol/placing hand in hand with a new venture.
Its a red/black roulette situation, and no one can predict the outcome at this current time until news of assets/liabilities and targeted assets are known.
Napalm
probably referring to a simultaneous placing and conversion quite common on a
new venture
fingers crossed we are not shafted as it usually pans out this way, the share price is
settled on the market at a price that with consolidation will match around the share
price of the new issue shares
say in this case currently 0.007 consolidated to possibly even as high as 7p (full pence)
then a matching fund raise for newco at a price in the vicinity
been in a few that have done this some have consolidated and risen quickly others have
not so much as per above example consolidated to 7p then new issue at 5p
so in the lap of the new BOD who what and how much but with a half decent newco
shares will eventually be worth more to trapped holders than the old icon was
Pays ya money and takes your chance in this scenario still a 50/50 punt until more
details emerge GLA
Nope,
The whole reason for consolidation is placing in the majority of cases.
Rarely any other reason for it.
Napalm - are you mixing up consolidation with placing????
Dependent on the BOD, a consolidation can be used ultimately to raise funds for either:
- Asset purchases
- Ensuring their salaries keep getting paid
You have to do the due diligence and decide what you believe their endgame is with the funds, and of course, you'll never really know until the end whether your punt paid off or didn't.
Some do, some don't. Devastating if they don't, amazing if they do.
Why would you sell because of a consolidation?
*0.10
Pump it too 0.06-0.08 mabey even 0.010 if we are lucky then slam everyone with a monster consolidation . So get out on the spike
That would hopefully be good news.
New people in place and a more solid base to climb from.
On thr cards..they just cannot continue with 37.4 bollion shares if they wish to bring in big ii invedtors. Its either that or take the shares off the market.
I say buy and hold for a VERY long term recovery play It's only fag money...it cost me more per month for my fags than a million of these.
