Apology accepted RH. Look, i sympathise with anyone in deep here as it could easily have been me, but i got out before it all kicked off as the writing was on the wall as i saw it. I really hope IAG does come out of all this OK & i will be prepared to invest at some stage. I'm just very wary based on my own prior experience with this stock that's all!
Yes I have just come back to apologise to Paddy because he is correct in saying that the Bod did not take up their full allocation which I find shocking. In fact disgraceful. They should have been forced to participate and lead by example.
@Roxbury.
Alex Cruz chairman and CEO of BA
Entitled to 95202 rights he bought 24392
Luis Gallego IAG CEO
Entitled to 454299 rights he bought 196991
Sanchez Prieto CEO Iberia
Entitled to 234122 he bought 92052.
Shocking..........
@Sunsurfer in answer to your questions
I do not know what low the SP will go to. I donāt see the point of predictions. Iām interested in buying the stock after itās bottomed out and has a future IMO. As for when the low will be reached I would predict during the week after the US elections because the chances are there will be a constitutional crisis. I very much hope IAG has a future and believe if it does survive it will flourish in the future however, the board of directors will do whatever it takes to save their company and shareholders should be very wary IMHO.

Paddy I still canāt find this? If you could cut and paste it it would be most appreciated and if so I will be disappointed.
Thank you
nothing against the company, just the predicament it is in that's all!
& for the record RH i will not touch this share with a bargepole until 70p minimum! far too risky atm
they have sold the nil paid rights!
please reread, they have not taken up their full rights! CEO, CFO. they do not want the shares at 84p!
Not sure what happened to my post so I will try again?
āThe Capital Increase pre-emptive subscription period is 12 - 26 September 2020. Each Director who is a shareholder and who is able to participate in the Capital Increase has irrevocably undertaken to exercise in full or in part his or her subscription rights to subscribe for New Shares.ā
So this gives them the option but you talk about it as if itās already happened? Re read your posts above they are misleading and thatās being polite.
Oway man stop it. You know what you are doing and itās not fair. Iām also waiting to buy in but would never stoop that low there really is no need.
24th Sept, Director/PDMR shareholding
Paddyboy Iām not ranting Iām attempting to have an adult conversation with you. Which RNS have you āinterpretedā this from? Iām intrigued. Hey if Iām wrong I will apologise.
i also understand from your comment RH that you also do not have confidence in this share at 84p either!
Roxbury House, please read RNSs before ranting. RNS 0392A. I just read & interpret facts & that is why i have no confidence in this share at the current price because the board who run the show don't!!
Paddyboy yet another example of information you do not know for a fact but bounce around here as if it is. Iām no expert but my understanding from RNS number 6608Y āPublication of prospectus and other mattersā states that the last date to sign up for the RI shares was Saturday 26th Sept ie yesterday so how can you know who has and has not signed up? Are you really that well connected OR are you making it all? Donāt get me wrong it could be true but you do not know this and the share price was in the low 90ās would you have taken your full allocation if you were them and had a choice? I wouldnāt. IMHO
interesting to know if Willie exercised his rights?

if 84p is not a good price for the CFO, why is it a good price for a private investor?
all you have to read is the Board of Directors didn't take up their discounted rights shares. That says it all. forget all the other stuff about vaccines, everything. That one sentence should give you the true outlook here! not deramping/ramping BS. just read the RNS
Some of the people on this board are nothing short of shocking and should be ashamed of themselves purposely trying to mislead other investors.
They are working together and could even be the same person with multiple ids. They say things like IAG definitely needing further dilution and are making it all up as they go along. They do not know this Itās just their opinion and they are doing it to unsettle you and cause further volatility to suit their selfish need to buy your shares as cheap as possible. Disgraceful. Please be careful and remember why you initially invested. IMHO
UK government will not bail this company out. Look how much they've thrown away on furlough!
OK, Spanish registered then. shareholders all over the place. Qataris own 25%. Point is UK Government have no interest in this business. The only thing they might wish to preserve is the intellectual property of the British Airways brand!
Paddyboy, no its not...
Ben, you forget BA is wholly Spanish owned. IAG is a Spanish company.
