Well said Fordm. Bobbins2 is our best poster of the year but this poster is by far and away the worst. I’ve not read the most recent post but I would guess it is the same critical unnecessary drivel as always. Best filtered.
Dear Darren,
As much as you hate coming here, you seem to spend a lot of time looking in and then commenting.
Now, if I were you and I'm not, I would find something more constructive to do, play 'chicken' with motorway traffic maybe?
Just a suggestion. Or, now wait for it... just log out and never come back?
Now, I do know that this may be hard for you to comprehend, as all of your posts seem to indicate that you are lacking in the IQ dept, but really? Complaining about posts on a public forum that is not owned by you? Tsk tsk. What a shame.
Now, try not to spill your milk as you toddle off into some dark corner.
Tschuss.
Boooooom boooooom boooooom, that just as good as the rubbish put on here everyday
Fair play to O'Leary, unlike the wimps running IAG, EZJ, etc...
"Chief executive Michael O'Leary told Sky News that passengers and airlines alike had been suffering because of failures by National Air Traffic Services (Nats).

Air traffic control delays 'terrible'
Why you can trust Sky News
Ryanair is suing air traffic control body Nats over last summer's flight chaos when more than 700,000 passengers were hit by cancellations and delays.
The low-cost carrier's chief executive Michael O'Leary said his company had been forced to pay out around £15m in compensation following the widespread disruption around the August Bank Holiday Monday."
I hold IAG and EZJ btw and did wonder last Aug why no-one publicly suggested suing NATS who have admitted liability, eg easy legal win.
Hi bobbins
Congratulations on your successful win and retaining the trophy and kylie's interest in delicately handling your trophy.
Absolutely terrific.

Can someone use a hammer to smash through this £1.77 glass ceiling please.
Many thanks.

RE: Looks like19 Apr 2024 15:38
Looks like we are headed for a finish of roughly 169 - up about 7p on the week. Given what a torrid week it has been, I'll take that - on Tuesday i thought we were heading back into the 140's. Looks like (for now) both Iran and Israel are declaring a draw, and spinning it as a victory in their respective countries. Lord knows what will happen in the longer term - the whole area is a tinderbox (for you young ones, that has nothing to do with online dating). Hopefully things will calm down long enough for us to return to the 180''s, at which point many people here (including myself) will be tempted to at least partially sell up, before the next crisis hits - with this share we all know the next potential disaster is never far away.
Anyway, I am now heading off for my own personal "de-escalation" - a.k.a. going to the pub. Not a Dom Perignon week, but as we were staring down the barrel a couple of days ago, I think a couple of Moretti's and some chilli nuts are well deserved. Let's see what next week brings. Have a nice weekend, and if you can't be good, don't get caught!
Lets not forget the article from Proactive on 27/03/24
Something to keep the pot bubbling :-https://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/1044144/british-airways-owner-iag-s-results-could-be-catalyst-for-rerating-analyst-1044144.html
JET2 is keeping a lid on share price today..
Whilst 'footfalls' are high, this does not translate to income revenue for specific airlines, it is spread across many that use LHR or any other. The profit for LTH is probably down to the increased in fees they are charging the airlines, so the airlines are the ones increasing LHR profits which comes off the bottom line of the airlines. Also probably due to the 'visa waiver' fees they are imposing to all UK based travellers to visit European countries (although that may not have come in effect yet?) Just my opinion.
Would have thought this would have been the spark needed to boost the SP towards 180 today...well there's always tomorrow
Gla
TamG, hahahahaha..ok, i will keep them. DB, i will always keep 10000 for bigger profits...coz they will go much higher, for sure..debt will come down and profits will go up. BTW, number of people choosing to fly ba is holding up pretty well!!!!DYOR.
Please paste a copy of the winning post!
Sund, dont sell out when this reaches £2 - I enjoy your commentary!
The busiest start to a year in its history has seen London’s Heathrow Airport turn a £83m profit through the first three months of 2024.

If you're close to your end goal does that mean you're soon going to stop posting and cursing the share price????? Please say yes????
Spreadbetting is a dangerous game for many who have not enough money to cover losses..I hold shares coz i bought them. not scared of losing/i don't have to cover my losses if any ( not that it has happened ). I have friends who can't afford it and they think it's a quick buck and they always lose. Anyway, i am close to my end goal now..very close. I wish everyone good luck though apart from those muppets who short and they will lose too. hey ho, their choice!! Hahahaha. If i had just stuck with A number of shares i would not be in the position i am in now, having traded them too has been a good thing for me. All this volatility has def helped. Good luck Robbren. Our wait has almost ended.
Sund.
No Im not sure how you define spread betting . I do generally hold a decent amount of shares but jump in and out depending how I feel
Robbren , i can't say how many shares i hold ( i don't do spreadbetting by the way, most people that do lose money)...but lets say i sold half quite high and bought some back at 1.73 and some under 1.60..but i have also traded them so many times in the past..i do hold quite a fair bit but i hold more CCL now after the last drop...and quite frankly, they are doing very well..and if they ever go up 200 points i am done. As far as IAG is concerned, i will hold a bit longer but i will dispose of the majority when they reach 200 or 2.05...and stick with only 10000 in case they reach 300. EZJ i will hold till 700-800...and again just keep a few for dividends and in case they take off in the next 3-4 years. How many have you got Robbren?? Do you spreadbet? GL.
Sund.
Just for clarity , how many shares and at what average value fo you hold now?
Hahahahaha...i sold and now IAG will go back down to £1.57 and i can buy in again!!!
Only kidding....this will fly, literally. GLA.
Oh no.... here comes sundezena to come and curse the iag share price again. Great.
Apologies for not responding earlier, but I had quite a nasty argument with my laptop, so was frozen out. What can I say? I am truly humbled to be the recipient of this highly prestigious award (again). Thanks to all who voted for me/ recommended. my post last Friday, which fuelled my late charge to the title. Thanks to Skindle for overseeing the whole process, and commiserations to Casio-kid, who I understand was runner up. Thanks to my parents (obvs.), and the dinner lady from my old school. Without them, none of this would have been possible. I intend to put the trophy on my mantelpiece, in-between last years trophy, and my framed picture of Kylie in her gold hotpants.
fordm - Kylie can wrap her tiny hands around my "trophy" anytime.
mararab - not really sure any more - bought and sold here so often i have lost track. My main holding pre covid was IAG, and failure to appreciate the severity of what was coming pretty much wiped me out. I wrote that money off. That was before covid (BC). After covid (AC), I guess my average is probably about 165. I am actually deeper into EZJ now, and they have been good to me.
Anyway - thanks again.
Shorter have reduced slightly,
Also Deutsche has upgraded its rating from 200p to 215p today.
Hopefully still £1.80+ by the weeks end
