And you wonder who is causing a disruption on this bb? I can only assume it is that illiterate momo as it's name has been mentioned and I have a special filter for that moron.
I am satisfied to know, I get under your skin, I am in your head, you are so troubled by me you have to spend your time hunting for something YOU consider to be scoring a point against me, not anybody else, but ME.
Sweet dreams about me tonight!
British Airways has launched a flash sale where it is offering 750,000 seats on short-haul flights to Europe or the UK for £39 or under.
Currently, the lowest price customers could get for a flight is £28 in the sale.
This limited-time offer is available on short-haul flights from Heathrow, as well as the airline’s services from Gatwick when it returns to short-haul flying from the airport on March 28, 2022.
It coincides with the current British Airways and British Airways Holidays sale, which is running until January 25.
LOL muma, it's called a discussion. Adults do this sometimes. They dont always agree. But its helpful for both sides.
Vaccinated travellers will no longer have to test for Covid on their return to Britain, it was reported on Saturday, as omicron cases fell to their lowest since December and the government prepares to lift all restrictions.
The move would allow families to go on half-term holidays next month without the need to take a lateral flow test two days after they return as is currently required, The Times reported.
The newspaper said Grant Shapps, the transport secretary, is understood to be in favour of ending the testing regime for the double-jabbed in time for the February break, with an announcement expected on January 26 when Plan B restriction are due to be scrapped.
“We are looking at removing all Covid tests for vaccinated travellers by the end of January, which is likely to coincide with the review of the plan B measures on January 26,” The Times quoted a source close to Grant Shapps as saying.
The decision to drop testing on arrival will come as further relief to the travel industry after measures were relaxed earlier this month.
Travellers no longer have to take pre-departure tests, costly Day 2 PCR tests and self-isolate on arrival.
On Friday daily recorded cases fell below 100,000 for first time in three weeks in a sign that the UK’s omicron wave may have peaked.
Dr Susan Hopkins, the chief medical adviser to the UK Health Security Agency, said the rate of infections was flattening in London, the south-east and the east of England, and slowing in the north.
Omicron being milder than previous variants, she said, patients were being discharged quicker than in previous waves of Covid.
The Telegraph reported on Saturday that Boris Johnson is set to lift Plan B Covid restrictions on January 26. Covid passports and work from home guidance are widely expected inside Whitehall to be lifted for England, though some rules on face masks may remain.
Scientists appear to have provided evidence that offers support for the change, as modelling included in new Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) documents suggests that restrictions would make little difference to hospital admissions.
who said results are going to be poor?? I reckon they will be better than many think. plus no tests on return to UK is a big mover. Can easily see 10 p up tomorrow. Good number of flights again today, over 400 according to ba.com.
GLA.
Shorts decreasing, and back open for half term with no restrictions in place is a big mover in my opinion. Ski season saved and people will be thinking about summer. Hopefully the financial PR continues from BA and airlines.
Doesn’t the share price reflect the value of the company? This means the future value, iAG has debts to cover which has been the cloud but the increase in booking revenue will take care of this.
All this good news is really positive imo
Agree blue but we have seen time and again 'Open Fever' trumps reality. Every weekend that we get more headlines pushes up 5(or more) pence. I'm well aware of results day impending but I think day traders, sp believes and algorithms will combine to keep pushing higher.
You are forgetting that results are just 6 weeks away and the effect of omicron has been big. I am not expecting much above 160 for the end of Jan. I think the city has priced in poor results, shorters have taken positions for very poor results and dilution. I think the last couple of months weigh much heavier on the sp than emerging out of a lockdown to where things were in October last.
Danph.
Can't disagree with that, even though I think thats quite conservative
With another steady trickle of good news over the weekend and virtually no bad news I'm going to predict that we finally break past 165 on Monday and get to a steady 170.
The main narrative from most news outlets is that we ar weeks away from end of pandemic.
