The climate change proponents will make all sorts of correlations as proof of their overall theory. Let's test out one hypothesis that you won't see on BBC tele [nor any other].
Has any body noticed that the current apparent high incidence of intense weather events, is occurring after a substantial drop in burning fossil fuels in engines? There you go, a direct correlation using the incidence frequency over time base the climate change lobby are using to qualify the assertion that there is such a s thing as climate change and that it is man made due to cars, and planes and other vehicles. But my correlation does not serve the purposes of the Marxist movement and is therefore not articulated.
Think about it. There are supposed to be a serious of mega weather events all around the planet at the moment. They are occurring after a major reduction in air travel and road/rail travel due to global lockdowns. The correlation is a hell of a lot stronger than most of the crap the climate change lobby comes out with. We should fly much more NOW to restore the climate to pre-pandemic status. It is a matter of urgency and we must all complete 20 trips before 23rd December or all the cute furry animals will die at the north pole. OMG, what have we done? We've destroyed all the furry little creatures by grounding all the aeroplanes. How could we have been so stupid? lol.
"Travel is what connects us to new cultures, sights and experiences across the globe."
The world is at an inflection point: if the globalists have their way, there'll be no cultural diversity, the whole world will be reduced to plain vanilla, thus taking away much of the desire or need to travel abroad. That will leave us just one short goose-step away from an outright ban on international travel for the masses. Of course, mythical man-made "climate change" will be given as the reason, before being quietly dropped once it's served its purpose and the Cultural Marxists' objectives have been achieved.
I'm so glad I banked 15 incredible long haul trips during the 7 years before the pandemic. I fear the next 7 years will be a different kettle of fish.
RNA viruses mutating all the time, that's theirs nature (first 6 months at medical university)
And they getting more infectious but less harmfull to your body.
Common knowledge.
But this time it's all about money, intimidation control etc.
Where's sesonal flu???? Has been killed by covid, a different type of flu...
If they had their way, there would no travel, we would be destined to return to Victorian era British staycations. "
Not just international travel, domestic too. The impact that banning sales of hydrocarbon driven cars is going to have a major impact in a mere 8 1/2 years and is going to be immense. There will be a complete social breakdown due to the cost of running and maintaining the alternative. It will not be available for the larger part of the population and most people will not be able to get to work. The green agenda is derived from a Marxist philosophy. This wing of Marxism latched on to the green agenda as it's method of population management. And as for aeroplanes being powered by batteries or carrying thousands of litres of liquid hydrogen around - forget that. You need the equivalent of key rocket launching facility to handle it. Fossil fuel was always going to be phased out as resources depleted. But the replacement technology should be emerging gradually rather than this totally artificial deadline that will have no impact at all on any aspect of any part of atmosphere. I would never hold a long term investment in the airlines for a future pension based on the current hysterical religious cult called climate change.
Whilst I can appreciate the impact negative sentiment can have in the media, ultimately money talks - financials will prevail, plus or negative that will dictate the future sp.
There has been a co-ordinated attack on air travel for at least six months now, led by the government, determined in all but name to ban all travel this year.
This can be traced back to May when Ben Wallace and others were wheeled out at the weekend to say they wouldn’t go abroad. No doubt their pals were tipped a wink and opened a short!
There is a more sinister angle which is how this era has accelerated the climate warriors attack on all forms of fossil fuel travel.
If they had their way, there would no travel, we would be destined to return to Victorian era British staycations. No thanks!!!!! I have NO intention of holidaying in the UK that’s not a holiday.
Travel is what connects us to new cultures, sights and experiences across the globe

Heres hoping the media report is totally incorrect.
Really does feel like the banking crisis of the aviation sector, the way the media are carrying out their witch hunt.

Heathrow Airport expects 60,000 passengers to depart daily

Sadly Fugazi totally contradictory reporting to the telegraph and BBC news.. which articulate the actual flight numbers this weekend of 65% 2019 levels.
The media has now used Covid to promote their own agenda whether that is left, right or central. The independent will revel in a reduction of travel as it is aligned with their green agenda.
I work of flight traffic - week on week 50% weekend increase in flights for BA, i can’t comment on easyJet or others as I’m not invested.
However even with significant uplift we won’t see a substantial rise in SP until sleepy Jo follows through with his ‘announcement in a few days’ - that was close to 2 weeks ago now.
once that is confirmed as a double jab negative PCR test from September. I will be booking my flight to NYC! They will also be hosting the Marathon in October
The UK govt have really messed up with their confusion.

I have to disagree I have been out and about the coast and in city centres people spending money enjoying themselves and helping the British economy
what is the cost of living in Ireland? The benefit levels may sound good, but if a loaf of bread costs €50 then it may not be that good.
"Nothing but extreme hardship and pain awaits the British economy and people."
Been like that since george and Gideon running the show, so you're a bit late with that statement
Problem is that the economic outlook for the UK up to 2023 is dire... It is predicted that the UK drop out of the the G7 this year and will be the 12th biggest economy at best by 2024.
Things can only get worse for Perfidious Albion.
Many of their workers are yellow pack workers
I. E. Very low paid.
In Ireland the single unemployment benefit payment (Dole) is 198 euro per week... (too much in my opinion).
In the UK it is.. 58 sterling per week! You would get more busking for a few hours in Dublin than that.. How the millions of unemployed Brits can survive on that is anybody's guess.
Nothing but extreme hardship and pain awaits the British economy and people.
Sky news has sadly become the Mail online of live news reporting. I’ve noticed in recent weeks - sensationalist Breaking news ! Headlines, then be removed entirely by the end of the day from the feed.
Once upon a time they were a credible news outlet, now sadly they are just chasing figures with ever increasing desperate sloppy reporting
Sky News kicking the weekend off with ,new variant under investigation, stories.
Desperate fkrs.
