A,
So will I get paid the dividend (approx. 6p) within 2 weeks?
And after it's been paid then transfer the share into a SIPP?
I have approx. 50,000 shares that are in my HL ISA.
Is that right?
Somm - Your HUR shares cease to exist and have been replaced by DCU's, 1share = 1 DCU. After the end date for the DCU any investment you hold also ceases to exist.
I take it you would do this after the dividend has been paid within the next 2 weeks?

Old board still there
Didn’t take long for the old BB to go.. will they be doing any DCU announcements on here I wonder?
CRS doing a 25p return which is a bit less than I had hoped
I ran a mile as soon as Trice stepped down. Hur was his baby, then his change of heart sent the alarm bells ringing.
Shame it ended like this for holders.
If you hold your HUR shares in an ISA then the DCU's that are going to be issued shorlty (which will pay the 6.48p) can NOT be held in an ISA.
DCU's however can be held in a SIPP so all income is tax free
So I have HUR shares in an ISA and expecting the 6p dividend to be paid out within the next 2 weeks.
The final payment 6.48p per share is expected to be paid over 2-3 years. So my shares will sit in the ISA over this period waiting payment(s).
What happens to the HUR shares once both of these payments have been paid?
First: thanks kever for the nudge here.
It’s worth noting and particularly for anyone around my age (55), you can set up a SIPP Very easily online with the same broker your ISA is with (HL in my case) and bed n SIPP your HUR shares over with no dealing in an instant (ish). In 2 or 3 years drawn down from your pension (up to 25% of your total pension pot) your DCU payments tax free. A bit messier and less flexible than keeping them in the ISA but not much.
"I'm new to this board. I have been a LTH of UKOG and if they finally get their act together I will be a millionaire. "
well that is never going to happen - one of the 5 worst shares on AIM
When are we expecting the next bit of earth shattering news from this company?
Seems very little activity within the share and can't see any upward movement for a while.
Cheers,
It's due to the risks involved which the current management team seem to be navigating very well through the various storms...but the risks remains :-
1. balance of USD$78.5m convertible bonds due on 24th July.
2. oil price needs to stay above USD$90 till that date.
3. oil is averaging USD$101 so far, this year.
4. uptime of FPSO or any possible production blockers.
So unless some inside news has leaked, the recent drop could be relative to recent weakness in the oil price.
I've got a small bet at an entry price of 7.4p. I hope all goes well and Hurricane is able to bide over...the hurricane.
Hi,
You are pretty much correct but I would say the fair value of the share should be somewhere between 10-15p currently. Two limitations of the share is no plan for all this money that they have but hopefully they will iron this out shortly and the fact we only have 1 well which is always precaurious having one revenue stream but hopefully from point 1 this will sort itself out. I think it's macroeconomics that is subpressing this with inflation, interest rates and recession being talked about.

be a millionaire. However Hurricane are already producing 9000 bpd and i'm shocked the SP isn't 10 times higher. I know there have been debt problems but with this amount of income, they will be short lived. Am I wrong . As a newcomer I would be grateful for your views !
Only one way this is going - that's up up up! Strong buy. Since when we stop buying Russian oil - the shortfall will have to include UK drilled oil. Hurricane - plenty!
Nothing since June on here.. has nothing happened at all ? I know the price has risen and seems to be steady… for now.
Large buy gone through nice lots more buying today
