Longwait,
"The giveaway was his ridiculous remark about rescue boats, which even my friend Double appeared to take seriously."
I object. I can't be bothered to go looking at my past posts for the relevant one, but I only replied to TsD's absurd penning to point out that calling the vessel in question a 'rescue boat' was stupid.
The fact subsists that the 'Seawell' has been chartered for unspecified work starting next month, and it'll be interesting finding out what her exact duties will be. Another thing which I have no doubt will be more fully explained at the CMD.
I've never listened to Haw-How's speeches before, but I just listened to his final broadcast - which he made during the battle of Berlin - at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUs0NCh3BcY
He sounded almost as self-important as TSD.
He said that the British were responsible for the War and would get what they deserved, apparently not suspecting that he would get what he deserved - from the British - eight months later.
At the end of the broadcast, he says in German, 'Long live Germany! Heil Hitler!'
My favourite part of the broadcast is where he says, 'You may not hear from me for a few months.'
Maybe TSD could take a holiday too.
I note that my friend Genghis agrees with me that TSD needs to be filtered.
If, however, you look at his past posts (which you can still do, even after filtering him) you will realise that actually he's just been taking the p*** out of everyone, and can't even be regarded as a candidate for a serious deramper.
The giveaway was his ridiculous remark about rescue boats, which even my friend Double appeared to take seriously.
TSD is the LSE's equivalent of Lord Haw-Haw.
In case anyone hasn't heard of him, he broadcast - in English, on Nazi radio waves - anti-British propaganda with the intent of demoralising the British public, damaging morale, and making sure Britain went down.
It was Haw-Haw who went down - at the end of a rope.
No further comment on that!
