JayKay...
Perhaps ....extreme sense of humour may upset a few, especially those who had lost relatives during a war???. I do really hope that you haven't lost any???
"Dammit! And I missed the original exchange, seemingly now deleted!
JayKay and Genghis having a falling-out? To the extent of a 'deleted thread'? Wish I'd seen it."
It is visible when you check thread view but not from message view?
"Perhaps he should apologize combatants or at least pay the tribute to all victims."

Cool yer guns, folks. Just because the room's infested with vermin right now isn't a reason for reaching for our guns and shooting the wrong people...

Extreme views/ideologies are not for everyone, don't they?
It's true isn't it?

Jay,
You don't owe anybody an apology, do you?
I rather doubt that song is sung in the playgrounds any more......
"It's certainly crossed my mind..."

I'm sure all holders are mindfull. I take it you are one of those who still has some balls.
Corral-Part,
"Absolutely my own decision. I have my reasons for sitting this out. Wish everybody still holding all the best."
Quite agree. And thanks for your best wishes.
I think there are a couple or three elephants in the room which people like to avoid noticing, or mentioning.
The SP is 'posted' as that of the latest 'Automatic Trade' (AT). Now this is usually taken to be 'bot trading', algorithms doing their thing, but it isn't, always. When I've traded a share, I always do so in weird, easily-recognised numbers. And I've had 'em show up as 'AT', 'OT', and one time as a 'UT'!
The thing being, once I've put in a buy or sell order, via internet and via my bank (Credit Agricole), I haven't a clue where it goes next, nor through whose hands. And don't care, really. So long as it gets executed. But the thing is, even a small PI order CAN affect the SP, if it passes through the hands of someone who can book it as 'AT'.
I do actually believe that movements in one stock can affect others, because of their 'ownership base', and that the PI market's pockets aren't bottomless.
So back to the elephants. We've had SXX, JOG, ECO, now TLW. People have lost money. Unlikely to be buying more shares quickly. We've got a UK election in a few days, upon the result of which will revolve a Brexit decision. And to crown it all, Christmas is coming, and people often like to have some cash around for that to ensure they can buy a fat goose, and not a scrawny one. So may possibly be pillaging their savings ( such as 'risky stocks') to ensure a merry yuletide.
Maybe simplistic, but not impossible.
"next stop >>dexrose>>benzodiazepines>>buprenorphine (early days....)"
As regards getting to sleep nicely, I'd recommend doxylamine. Over-the-counter here in France, probably kept under lock and key in the UK. Marketed under different brand names. Non-addictive, no known 'bad reactions' seen, overdose unknown, as well. Reading about the research on the internet is interesting, because although it has 'calming' effects, nobody seems to have discovered why. Which to my (crazy mind) is why they put things in the 'notice' regarding usage, not to take more than suggested, nor for an extended period. Hasn't killed me yet.
I’ve forgotten the subject already!
Are you using predictive text, wellwell?
By 'dextrose,' do you mean 'dementia'?
No offence intended to either you or Barblebobton/bottom
next stop >>dexrose>>benzodiazepines>>buprenorphine (early days....)
Bartlebobton so sorry I didn't even get your name remotely close. I think I may be hiding signs of dextrose.
Das boot .... I'm in the same one....
Barblebottom - no I dont mind at all. WW I considered less risky though and frankly I believe my decision to hold my shares, especially when a flare was pictured, was the correct one but the evidence says otherwise.
Absolutely my own decision. I have my reasons for sitting this out.
Wish everybody still holding all the best.
DiveCentre.... I think it's interesting hearing others rationale behind their decisions; WellWell, who I hope won't mind me saying, had some basic, but compelling thoughts on selling before the results on WD. Hopefully most here are critical thinkers and not the dependent type, who accept whatever they are spooned without questioning.
Corral-Part
I hope you came to your decision without being influenced by the posts on this board. Everyone is entitled to sell if they are uncomfortable with the risk. However advertising that choice at this point in time does no favours to holders, and leaves you open the accusation of contributing, whether intentional or not to the deramping. I continue to hold. Should I decide to sell all or any of my holding I do not consider that I had any obligation to explain myself.
We're now producing from the field, so it's crunch time. I'm hoping for a good update but can't afford a bad one, hence my decision to sell and sit on the sideline for the time being.
Coral, you could have said that at any point since 2014
I think many are saying that there's reason good reason to be out until the play is properly proven/until the upcoming update. Not the most irrational position to take.
Completely agree genghis. We've had a torrid week and I'm not completely sure it was entirely justified. Cast your mind back to the WW result rumours and how quickly an RNS was issued to scotch these. Perhaps we need someone to start mentioning these new rumours on social media in order to get a response lol. An RNS to say so either way is very much needed.
First it was dspp, now its reverandy.
I know dspp is a respected poster and deservedly so ; but in this instance it's my opinion the case h posits is extremely unlikely, as it flies in the face of co statements. Now reverandy at it too ; I know just saying what if, but, again, that what if is at odds with co statements. Previous RNSs that have stated all is well at the EPS ;RT's statement at RGs on how well the EPS was performing ; and the lack of any statement indicating ANY problem with the EPS, which the co clearly promised would be forthcoming if anything departed from guidance.
The horses seem to have been spooked, to the extent that usually calm and rational posters are positing scenarios which are simply not justified. An irrational fear of unspoken bad news seems to have infected the mood.
I'm not sure how long the co can continue to ignore this ; their institutional holders, incl our friends Kerogen with their board seat, may want to see these rumours quashed before much longer.
If that were to be the case, and we got positive a clarification RNS anytime soon, there could be many with egg on their faces here, not to mention a scramble to get back in.
