With now 4 shares for a quid then HUR with a tanker full of crude has got to be a fair bet.
The recent Edison report was carelessly written where it expressly mentioned HUR was sensitive to the price of oil. Muppets.
Resisting the urge ...
"Is the SP down today because ..."
Oil is generally down today, evidently. No doubt the prospect of another few million in the bank via sale of the next offload will send shares plummeting!!:}
There is no volume today, just the continuing transfer of shares from small private investors to the big players, and a great time to continue to build a large stake at a small cost.
As long as it's not because the Navion Oceania has sunk under the weight of all the oil it's carrying! Ironic that the sp goes down because sceptics refuse to believe lots of oil is being produced and yet also goes down with the oil price falls because HUR are seen as an oil producer.
Is share price is tumbling due to the major selloff of the oil yesterday or I am missing something else? Cheers
Agree Chinski. Lack of response from the Co is however exacerbating the effect of this speculation. I am just hoping there is good reason not to RNS - that is to say that there is something else cooking…
I dont think DSSP is a paid deramper for what its worth. He's been on that Lemon Fool thread since the start back in 2017, it would one hell of a long game. I guess an increasing water cut is a worry and until the situation is properly confirmed by the company and addressed or stabalised then there will be some concerns.
After all the late after hours buys yesterday, we are down ????
"If someone did want to take HUR over then manipulating share price lower works in their favor. One day I certainly expect to wake up to RNS informing us of a take over. However PIs will be the last to know when that might happen."
Exactly. One word, Amerisur. A dead dog.
One thing is for sure - *if* there was real-world reason for recent drop the internet would know about it... Recent share price movements are simply market creating trading opportunity based on uncertainty (from DSPP) and knowledge there wont be update until CMD in March. However as we get into February and closer to the CMD I personally expect share price to recover.
If someone did want to take HUR over then manipulating share price lower works in their favor. One day I certainly expect to wake up to RNS informing us of a take over. However PIs will be the last to know when that might happen.
Now is not the time to sell assuming you believe in longer term story : sit tight and ride it out.
AK,
Re: 'that as it may, 'the market' seems to work in mysterious ways. And let's face it, there are a lot of people who have read 'The Naked Trader' and who may be presenting themselves as 'LTH', but in fact sitting in front of their computer in their underpants just making idiots of us all, but making a decent day-wage. And in fact I don't criticise those people at all.'
Agree 100% :O)
Re: 'But when something like this 'water-cut' ****e emerges, and creates a wave, I get suspicious that it's not blokes in underpants behind it...'
Again 100% Agree.
The bottom line in all of this Carp, is that for every Tanker that leaves every 30 days or thereabouts , thats another $63 at least per barrel less Opex ie, net $40/Barrel , on average lift of 420K Barrels= $17M/month = $204M/annum.
Happy Days, just sit tight and hold.
JF,
" I think we are on the same page re LF, I like you just want to get to the bottom of it all."
10-4.
These BB's are what they are. The 'market' is what is may be, People chat about things being 'manipulated' and whatever, and are often howled down as being paranoid losers.
Be that as it may, 'the market' seems to work in mysterious ways. And let's face it, there are a lot of people who have read 'The Naked Trader' and who may be presenting themselves as 'LTH', but in fact sitting in front of their computer in their underpants just making idiots of us all, but making a decent day-wage. And in fact I don't criticise those people at all.
But when something like this 'water-cut' ****e emerges, and creates a wave, I get suspicious that it's not blokes in underpants behind it...
Unlike them, I've got time on my hands to investigate, though. Though of course it could all be a wild goose chase. But fun. Just for the heck of it.
AK,
Fully respect your views, always have done.
Not arguing as to what you think, I think we are on the same page re LF, I like you just want to get to the bottom of it all.
I agree, I think DSPP is either employed by a company that is shorting HUR or is supporting as such, again IMHO.
JB,
"Such a challenge is alike to the Keith Lemon show 'Through the Keyhole', ie a celeb comp "
Yeah. But you're talking to one of the handful of people in the world that know exactly which component on the Macondo failed, and why. Though we have no evidence because it's buried 17,663 m underground.
I like detective-stories.
AK,
'Funny, that. But it's a thought which occured to me as well. Might follow up.'
Such a challenge is alike to the Keith Lemon show 'Through the Keyhole', ie a celeb comp whereby one is challeneged as to to who lives there, (PMSL) :O)

Again, Companies House :O)
Oh and another thought, this is a Private Ltd Co, that willingly accepts donations? not sure how that works in the real world, is it a charity?
and the sp on 08.11.19 was 43p.

08.11.19 I replied to a post by bransonbull thread title "Two reasons....we arent at 60p"

Kerogen and Warwick Deep are contributors but they are not the primary reason for the current share price. When you consider that the Lancaster EPS alone is sufficient to support the current sp it becomes clear that NO VALUE is ascribed to:
1) Lancaster full field development.
2) Lincoln (a proved discovery)
3) Warwick.
4) Halifax.
5) Whirlwind.
None of this potential value has been priced in and the question is WHY.
The only rational explanation is that investors are still wary of that term unconventional reservoir used to describe fractured basement.
Is this a reasonable conclusion or has the FB risk factor been deliberately exaggerated and if so by whom and for what purpose?
and you reply:
DC,
"The only rational explanation is that investors are still wary of that term unconventional reservoir used to describe fractured basement. Is this a reasonable conclusion or has the FB risk factor been deliberately exaggerated and if so by whom and for what purpose?"
I think it's a reasonable conclusion. Though your other suggestion may be correct, as well. The problem being that if it actually is the latter, one enters into speculative territory, and runs the risk of being labelled a conspiracy-theorist!
JF,
"You could start with companies house, owner of LF, and work from there, it's a long shot I know.."
Funny, that. But it's a thought which occured to me as well. Might follow up.
DC,
"conspiracy theorist?"
Yes, there are a worrying number of people 'out there' shouting 'water-cut, water-cut'! and taking their time drawing nice diagrams, trying to say that Hurricane's endeavours are somehow doomed to failure. Somehow blinding people to the fact that yet another tankerload of oil is right now heading to Rotterdam.
Yes. It might seem like I'm paranoid and 'conspiracy-theorist', but it seems like certain people are more inspired to give opinions as to why things 'won't work' than there are those happy with the evidence that things actually ARE working.
Draw your own conclusions.
Yeah? Why not? Just'cos you're diagnosed as being paranoid doesn't mean you're NOT being watched. And you guys in the UK (with the biggest percentage of CCTV cameras per head of population) ought to be aware of that.
Re: "What I'd like to know is who he works for..."
You could start with companies house, owner of LF, and work from there, it's a long shot I know.....maybe no connection whatsoever, but these days there is always a digital footprint.

"What I'd like to know is who he works for..."
conspiracy theorist?
" Secret ports with water offload facilities"
The tanker is going more specifically to '8E PET MOT 1', an offloading facility berth in Rotterdam. Unfortunately (despite some google searches) I can't find a way to get incoming cargo tonnage (unlike the last offload at a German port), so we'll maybe have to rely on our friend Amaji to get us the figures. However, given the vessel's reported draft of 11.5m, it looks like another half million bbl or so.
Which without wishing to seem 'rampy', nor doing any sums, indicates to me that production from the Lancaster Field EPS is going nicely and according to plan.
"
ADUK....as would I ....no doubt he will reappear under a different guise...but people like him should be outed by the platform he uses to influence and indirectly commit fraud....
