Some sort of deal with Premier over Lincoln could be good news for everyone...
agreed Mary..
Also remember the management is different now as well.....i am guessing less focus on ego and more on money.
Yes I remember this proposal (suggestion) from PMO and HUR gave it short shift but HUR is in a lot weaker position now. If a deal can be done for a tariff per barrel over Solan it may well suit HUR/Spirit to get production underway at Lincoln earlier.

Tony Durrant put this proposal on the table over a year ago and HUR are not interested. PMO's Solan field is on Licence Block 205/26a-6 which happens to overlap our Lincoln field. Coincidence, or could it be that the rebuff has led to the OGA call for a field (re) determination.
Solan platform is not far away from Lancaster, I believe it has spare capacity
.....and a 600k - now some of the ATs being taken out to fill more orders
Can sniff the blue finish.....few 500k buys filled
dive centre - i think a bid from premier is very unlikely too...what interested me is their repeated willingness for HUR to use their facilities named in another article and i believe hinted at here...would benefit hur and anyone else who might decide to purchase them
There is no chance of a bid from Premier. They are heavily in debt and once again having to roll over covenants They have an activist investor that has interfered in the BP purchase so I cannot see their debtors agreeing to an offer for HUR which it has to be acknowledged has some risk attached, and I would suggest far to much for their debters to stomach.
Prem have a shedload of debt but it would be an easy win for their portfolio with sea lion on the back burner cheeky bid for say 15 p may fly...
Could premier oil get interested here?

NORTH Sea heavyweight Premier Oil is set to ramp up production from a flagship development off Shetland on which it has faced big challenges, in a development which could encourage interest in the area.
