Tanker now backing off from A.M after trials this afternoon. She was hooked up for a short while.
She’s the only tanker and currently sat approx 0.5 mile off A.M’s stern
Pisces21
If you are out there, does the Altera Wave have a smaller tanker close by, or is it a false echo?
Or two!
Maybe it’s because with both wells back online they are now producing 20,000 barrels a day!
“We’re going to need a bigger boat” :-)
"Today’s tanker is for a trial connection, not an offload."
Cheers fella, keep safe.
Seems odd having a trial connection for a company that's imminently doomed (satirical comment)
Keepwell...” Maybe it's picking up Maris's wages.”
Hahaha...best post this morning...lol
Thanks, Pisces. Your info is always spot on.
If today's tanker is for a trial connection as pisces21 suggest, it has perfect weather to carry out the operation, wind westerly 6 to 8 knots.

Maybe it's picking up Maris's wages.
Would be surprised if this would be a full offload. Are there expectations of severe weather conditions next week? Could be a reason. It's gone to be interesting to see the report of loaded volume of crude when the vessel returns. If not mistaken, that info appears as data on the shipping map, isn't it?
The current position of ALTERA WAVE is at North Sea (coordinates 58.67364 N / 2.00979 W) reported 6 hours ago by AIS. The vessel is en route to LANCASTER, sailing at a speed of 9.2 knots and expected to arrive there on Apr 22, 08:00.
Yes tanker on route and arriving early, I think hurricane management are trying to pull the wool over PI’s eyes.
“Are management that bad they didn’t even know when the tanker is due or...
Has production with both wells ramped things up again ...?”
The answer ,lies with CA ..they obviously know much more than we do :)
They definitely put their money where their mouth is...
Well that gives big hope here..
Holding significant numbers here ...another truckload...
GL and as always please dyor
One day prior to RNS on the 19th
Saying 22nd lifting at end of April early May...
Something seems weird here if it is arriving as it’s saying at Lancaster tomorrow 08:00...on the 22nd?
