AIS from Stena Natalita is now being received. Destination Wilhelmshaven (as previously advised by Mishdosh).
canetois,
"Take car, stay safe.................................................and do as you're told by 'les Flics'"
I'm sure that was a typo, and instead you meant 'take care'.
Haven't got behind the wheel for three weeks now. And miss it dreadfully. Home-from-home is the road.
Of course I obey the 'flics'. Except when I don't. Being a good boy at present. Though if 'mob rule' breaks outs out, I may take advantage of it...
ADUK: "By the way, where are you? Back in the UK, or sweating things out under 'lockdown' in the Roussillon? Naturally, the truck-race at Elne is cancelled, though I'd thought of popping in there (and Canet) on the way down to Barcellona (also cancelled)."
Yes back in the UK but hardly sweating out, though come to think about we are probably sweating it out but for other than sunshine reasons. Right now is the time that we would be setting off for Canet and there we would remain until early October. It remains to be seen what the Virus does for a living in the future before we can even think of making any plans for France. If there's the remotest chance of getting down there we will, given that our place is Front Mer and can take an awful beating by the weather throughout the winter, half the flipping beach will be in my front garden and glued to my windows along with a mountain of inconsiderately placed rubbish that holidaymakers wish to dispose of. We have another home in Chaumont, inherited from Ma in Law, which will need some attention too. Stategically it could not better placed as a "half way house" during the journey to the South.
What will be, will be, a bit like our HUR share at the moment but I have every confidence that both the Virus and HUR will start to behave themselves soon.

canetois,
"Many thanks to you both for even bothering to come back for a second go. At least I have found something that gets me close enough to make me happy.
I ticked you both up for your kindness."
No sweat. In fact I think you may have just made a wrong keyboard input of 80,000, instead of 60, in which case you'd have been right.

Booked my hotel at Llioret for September and the 'Sismix', though, so (hopefully) may drop through, assuming the world hasn't ended...

canetois,
"Oh, it does.
60000MT =410610."
But then you've got to take into account the API gravity of the oil concerned!
When I posted 425,000 bbl, I in fact 'upped' the figure, just to live up to my reputation as a 'ramper'!
But summat around 420,000 is the right 'ballpark'.
What's a few thousand barrels between friends, other than a good party?
Plus 'Betty Knutsen' took off a bit more than 200,000 a fortnight ago (probably weather-related).
Going great guns out there.
Specific gravity calculated for 38API is 0.8348 which produces a factor of 7.5345261 for the conversion of metric tonnes to Barrels. There will be errors due to temperature variation but we have no information to enable this to be accounted for.
Oh, it does.
60000MT =410610.
I used this, no good?

Forget it, it don't work. I measures Barrels in everything other than Tons.

canetois
I make it 452,000bbl.
canetois,
I make it closer to around 425,000 bbl. Which is a 'partial offload', but given it's the second in a fortnight, no sweat.
Missdosh: "Stena Natilita due at Nord-West Olleitung on 06/04/20 at 06:00
Cargo 60.000MT"
My extremely poor grasp of mathematics makes that about 530472bo. If it's no where near, don't blame me, blame Google.
With the AM currently offloading todays rise in the price of Brent is very welcome.
Thanks Missdosh
Even in today's market that should equate to $3m or more profit.
Anybody turning a profit in these circumstances is doing well in my book.
Stena Natilita due at Nord-West Olleitung on 06/04/20 at 06:00
Cargo 60.000MT
Anybody have any information on the Stena Natilita.
