Greg. See you over at TXP? Ngms has put this on the radar and on the face of it, it would seem to be an excellent shorting opportunity LOL
I don't trust CA one bit. However let's be honest it is about the only good news we have had all year...at least they are showing some positivity however temporary. I would rather they are accumulating rather than selling off which must have been a worry on some minds after the downgrade.
As I have said I am expecting a few more Twists and turns in the story and I still believe this has at least a bounce left in it.
Quite hilarious, watching posters on here portraying CA massively increasing their holding as bad news. If HUR announce they've bought up half the bonds on the secondary market, and extinguished that debt for £25m, the same posters will be screaming that they haven't left themselves enough money to drill the water injectors, so we're doomed. And if they announce they're going to tie in Lincoln and start producing from it too, I don't know, maybe that will cause the FPSO to be overwhelmed and sink? Lol.
You make them sound a hit like ngms!
CA and Bernstein will do what they need to do and that is to make money for themselves and their shareholders. For all the newbies here that think hur only go back as far as two weeks ago let me divulge a little secret from a fews years back. Bernstein was asked by the bod to join the board and he refused. Ask yourself why......well it would mean he'd then be on the inside and couldn't trade as he wished.
He then agitated for Trice's removal..... tick
New board installed.... tick
New massive downgrade in resources.... tick
CA poo pooing the new resources downgrade but instead give their own take on oil pooling as opposed to OWC levels... tick
The apparent massive buying spree but in effect they've only bought a couple of million pounds worth...... tick
£43 million profit from hur over the last few years.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, CA would rob you of the sugar from you tea if given half the chance. Follow the trend by all means but do not trust them....
Lining up a push to sell Hurricane to the highest bidder.
Their activist background tells you their in the market for that to happen
