Tiggernan
I dont mean to be patronising, but y not just go the q4 presentation on the HUR website?
It's all laid out perfectly clearly what the plan is, except mention of "interruptions".
tiggerman,
" I would like to see an upward moving SP to reflect this success.'
...And so say all of us!!!!
(For he's a jolly good fellow, etc...)
Your 'layman's appraisal' of things to date is correct, though it's quite possible that the Lincoln well could produce at more than 10,000 bpd.
"Will HUR roll in Aoki Misu 2 and connect up L.Crestal and WWW to produce a further £40 / 50,000 million per month?"
Seemingly the plan is to tie back LC to the AM on Lancaster. Though (see company documents) a further FPSO over the GWA is planned, and with the seeming current success on WW, it may become fast-tracked, though such things take time.
"Then what happens to TO Leader. Back to the garage, or on to drill further wells?"
The TOL seems to have done some good work. But there were some balls-ups on WD, though they may not have been attributable to the rig nor the crew. I don't know. But the rig is just a drilling rig, and the crews move on. These things change, and hopefully DO. One of the major contibutors to the GoM Macondo disaster of 2010 was the 'pet' status of the Deepwater Horizon.
I have no answer to the state of the SP. Everyone would like to see it higher, and the reason why it isn't is beyond me.
I was somewhat surprised, as this board is essentially for debate and question, to have no responsive criticism, so have repeated my earlier post.
Since then, The Marxist hopeful has threaten punitive taxation on oil companies, which, whilst it might drag on the SP a touch, should not be too damaging as he will not pass the finishing post first.
I am but a simple investor with little understanding of the Oil process.
Hur. have drilled two wells on Lancaster and these appear to be flowing splendidly and producing £25 million every 30 days now . Long may it continue
Lincoln Crestal has been drilled and capped with an approx potential for 10,000 bopd
WD has been shut down as non commercial
WW is ( hopefully ) going to be declared a supergiant - 10 / 20,000bopd ????? within the next 7 days. What happens then.
Will HUR roll in Aoki Misu 2 and connect up L.Crestal and WWW to produce a further £40 / 50,000 million per month. It seems daft to have a commercial well and not maximise the asset. I guess Spirit could also use 50% of the cash .
Then what happens to TO Leader. Back to the garage, or on to drill further wells. My understanding is that The Rona Ridge will support many more wells, which with the knowledge now gained , should produce a high commercial strike rate. And many more millions of £'s. Is this not the future. Despite oil being out of favour, most knowledgeable pundits seem to believe that oil is of such importance across a huge range of industrial products, that it is likely to be in continuos demand for 20 / 30 more years.
And on what sort of timescale is this likely to happen.
Apart from which, I would like to see an upward moving SP to reflect this success. £1-00 does not seem too unreasonable when WW flows are confirmed.
