Beware of the Freudian typo...

Wellwell,
"That’s the one. In response to your lovely opinions. "
Ok, apologies about 'rant' last night, but as you and I know well, gas re-injection in Lancaster is a non-starter.
Nice to see more 'tech' stuff coning back onto this BB.
Got thrashed like a dog at my little local poker game so now have to go online to try catchup. More later.
I guess with an ego that large not a lot. Good luck anyway.
What's luck got to do with it?
That’s the one. In response to your lovely opinions. Good luck with the poker.
Wellwell,
Which one? The one telling me to go f**k myself?
Don't be in a hurry to reply, I've got to rush and (hopefully) make some money.
AK did you miss my reply to your rant last night?
"fang
Pardon my irritation, I have used other bb s similarly where I haven't had time to keep up.
But I recall your handle here for a considerable time now, and really thought you would have had time by now to know about gas solutions, which are pretty important to understanding what HUR is about."
Pardon accepted. I read so much over the last 3 years at my age it's difficult to remember it all, other than HUR's got a shedfull of potential oil and little or no debt. Gas re-injection was something that just popped into my head when talking to someone about the Rough Field once having more gas in it than when discovered, as BG used it for summer storage and for some reason I thought Rough reservoir was granite but have since educated myself on that!
No worries

*reinject
AK it was HUR themselves who advised they’d not reinfect the gas as part of the EPS flaring consenting process I recall as they didn’t want to alter the reservoirs natural behaviour. Whether it’s a good idea or not wasn’t up for debate.
I’m sure others can corroborate and later I’ll look forward to a retraction from you.
Cheers.
Wellwell,
I was just about to go to bed after a very long day doing uproarious things which I don't feel any need to elaborate about here, especially given the Harvey Weinstein trial result , which pleases me enormously, but I couln't help noticing this:
"Injection of gas alters the very reservoir behaviour they are trying to model."
Now that, my man, is an utterly bull***t phrase.
Cut out the bull.
Gas injection would be downright dumb. Where would it be injected into? What good would it do?
F**k that 'reservoir behaviour they're trying to model bulsh'.
Gas re-injection into FB is just a stupid idea. Period.
Im aware that Lancaster is due to be tied in to WOSPS after 3 years but was just looking for a logical reason why Hur wouldn't want to Commit to Lincoln crestal atm. I guess it all boils down to Spirits ongoing commitment which is all a bit ???
Thought perhaps it was logical that Hur would want to maximise their own wells and revenue before having to fund a WOSP tie in instead of funding one now from Lincoln but I'm probably being a bit simple
I don't know whether the AM is rigged, but I am quite certain that AIM is rigged!
Cheers Adk & WW, just a thought that popped into my head and looked for the easy answer. If the AM isn't already rigged for Gas re-injection then its a non starter anyway. Had a thought in my head that the Rough field was in granite, but it's not so thought goes away. (checked that all by myself myself ;-) )
Injection of gas alters the very reservoir behaviour they are trying to model.
fang2,
"So, that's a 'no' then. Figured someone might know off the top of their head to save me doing oudles of research. "
Yup, gas injection isn't part of the equation.
"(thought that was what this forum was for, but hey let's just leave it all to the twat's from the asylum)"
This forum used to be like that, but has been recently invaded by escapees from some sort of loony-bin. Up to you how to sort the wheat from the chaff.
"Does no one here do any research, or are you winding me up?
Gas reinjection is not an option, at least at this stage, for reservoir reasons. If t were, it would require a dedicated well and lots of subsea infrastructure.
FFs, take a good, long read of the backstory on the website."

Do we know if the AM has gas re-injection facilities onboard?
flaring permit. Tbc, WOSPS tie in (or other solution) is mandatory.
The Lancaster flinf permit is for a limited period, mb 3 years, I think.
WOSPS tie in is not optional.
Mithril, I also picked up on this several weeks ago. They may not need to tie back to WOSPS for additional Lancaster production. If this is the case then you can see why they have decided to drill 8.
I watched some of the web link from the July CMD the other day.
At 1.52.25, Gas flaring was discussed & AS stated that if any Gt Warwick fields are tied back to the Aoka Mizu there is no gas flaring capacity & they have to tie back to WOSPS. Lancaster tho has flaring capacity.
Would the cost of tying into WOSPS make it better value to concentrate on Lancaster?
What I'm saying is something has caused our management to focus our expenditure away from hooking up TWO producer wells....and instead focus on packaging the company for a takeover, spending the minimum that would be required to get it 'buy-out ready' ie. not incurring hook-up costs for GWA, putting money instead towards GLA hook-ups and using Aoka Mizu for GLA.....something that seems counter-intuitive when there are two wells ready to produce at GWA
