R.I.P........
Only just read the very sad news , I will certainly miss Adouk's postings (now I know why he hadn't posted for a while ) and indeed the very many late into early hours O/T (Off Topic ) conversations that we had back in the days before the SP crashed and Trice was in charge etc.
He was a true gent ,and as others have already stated was a very astute and gifted talented wordsmith .
What I liked most about Adouk, was that you could ask a him any technical oil related question you wanted, he would always take the time to answer your query in full for the benefit of all non oiles like myself.
One saving grace I suppose, is that at least he saw the removal of the former corrupt BOD's.
RIP Adouk, will miss your postings, my sincere condolences to your family.
Sad news indeed,it was some journey from that Polish dockyard,Dubai,Rotterdam and onto the Shetlands.RIP AD.
So sad I did read all his posts not being an oily RIP AD
RIP AAUK - I loved his informative posts. Enjoy the poker tables up & beyond, Sir. You will be sorely missed.
Sad sad news….there are plenty of genuine and well informed posters on these types of bulletin boards….however Adoubleuk stood out for me. His posts were both informative and interesting. He obviously knew his oil and gas stuff and provided us all with valuable and informative information. His stories during slow news periods were enthralling. When the heat was on and all around were losing their heads and being duped by other unscrupulous posters, Adoubleuk stood his ground challenging them and offering his own thoughts, based on his obvious vast experience . He certainly provided me and I guess other long term holders with a certain amount of reassurance. He along with Laserdisc, shipwatcher on ADFN, have been remarkable posters. I salute you Adoubleuk.
I really enjoyed his posts and in particular his links to great rock music. A real shock to learn that someone so positive and seemingly energetic has passed . RIP and thanks.
RIP Adoubleuk
We will miss both the Oiler Education and the French Entertainment .
Thank you
GB
RIP Adoubleuk......spent many an evening reading his posts. Always gave as good as he got but was never abusive. Sad day ....
Sad day. Was here with him when we were 60p. Enjoyed his stories, poker and life in France. Depth of knowledge in this industry.
