Story of my life, but usually works out good...
Beerbull, it was going so well until you bought.
Sorry chaps kiss of death, just bought another chunk at Lidl prices. No doubt it will now drop.
wahoooooo SP holding a gain for once.
It seems, Genghis, that even TLF has been dumbed down!
Is nothing immune?

If you look at LF, it is not so much dspp who is concentrating on the bonds, but other posters who are talking detail around embedded derivatives.
All complete nonsense, really ; it may be serious stuff to serious investors, but is completely irrelevant as long as the wells work.
I used to go over there to read some pretty serious analysis of the sort rarely seen here ; but when you go over there these days, despite all the technical, learned, and earnest posts, it is hard not to see a fearmongering conspiracy, whether or not that is the case.
I noticed that ref. the bonds but what I find stranger is that the group think - moving onto to another of their genuine concerns all around the same time. You's almost think the similar posting a concert party.
Trice really does need to come out punching
thx DC, missed that patch.

I think it’s no understatement that HUR management are scratching their heads by what’s happened to the SP, given that nothing of fundamental importance has changed. IMO pi’s are currently inclined to believe in the lemon messiahs rather than what Dr T is saying. The truth will out & hopefully then dspp etc will depart the scene.... somehow I doubt he’ll accept defeat given than he has now morphed from FB expert into a convertible bonds consultant. There was I thinking snake oil salesmen were consigned to spaghetti westerns, more fool me.

No, you are definitely not the only one! 99% on here would agree.
Longwait, as the days keep passing and remember we are almost about to hit spring 1st of March in roughly 13 days and the year is already flying by. I reckon as long as oil does not collapse, and coronavirus doesn't get out of control then I can imagine this will be above 20p before the CMD and then after it around 26p and by June back to 33p plus, so I wouldn't waste my time on the manipulator here. Only IMHO. Might be completely wrong, but I am keeping focused on the fundamentals, as long as Hur keep pumping 20k bopd then I am happy. Money and profits will prevail all the other BS. Hopefully OGA, will authorise in our favour soon.
If I understand you correctly, Double, you seem to be saying that DSPP has turned his attention from water cuts to bonds / bond derivatives.
That wouldn't have something to do with HUR's alleged debt problems or with bond market manipulation, by any chance?
If DSPP is now concentrating on bonds, is it a coincidence that a certain (increasingly-filtered) poster whose main purpose in posting here is to gloat over LTHs' misfortune, has also just turned his attention to HUR's bonds?
As for shorting, shorters, and shorters getting their comeuppance, I think I know a fair amount about stock market history and price movements, but I don't understand how this price collapse has been brought about by shorting, and frankly, I think you understand shorting better than I do!
One thing I do know is that fortune and misfortune in the markets mirror political or national fortunes and any others you care to think of, and seem to alternate as night follows day.
People tend to think of future price movements, political and national fortunes as projections or continuations of the past.
That's why we have certain posters predicting further falls.
I don't know (and neither does anyone else) whether the price has bottomed yet, but I do know that it is behaving the way prices behave when they are bottoming.
I too would like to see the shorters ruined, but it they simply left the scene, that would be good enough for me.
I don't see them risking life and limb in an attempt to get the price down to 5p, when they could more easily and safely make far more money by going long.
The longer the price takes a step up, then a step down, and ends the day roughly where it started, the more convinced I will be that someone is accumulating and preparing for the next move up to 60.
yes,it was those two subliminal lines that really cheesed me off, too.......

Oh dear, I can't help writing a bit more, while on the computor and before having supper. Because just been re-reading my post to see how many typos I made, and just spotted something which made me laugh out loud. I was stupid not to have noticed it before.
Dspp's quote, re-quoted:
"There might be room to squeeze through the middle if the wells aren't quite working perfectly / but haven't dropped off too much"
Haven't 'dropped off too much ?????????????
Sh**. From RNS, they're being opened up to greater production as of just before the end of January, and without news stating otherwise, still under natural flow, though they may be playing with the ESP's by now, we don't know.
Plus (however) we DO know that just the two wells are capable of exceeding the FPSO's throughput capacity until 'debottlenecking' and WOSP tie-in.
'Dropping off'? Maybe Dspp's referring to himself and the perch someone's put him on.
SG2,
" Get a grip and stop implying Dr Trice is a liar, you tlf dudes."
Heartily agree. As he seems to have stopped posting here, here's a bit of latest from dspp over there.
"There might be room to squeeze through the middle if the wells aren't quite working perfectly / but haven't dropped off too much, and where more time is required to figure out just how best to develop the reservoir. "
Lots of negative innuendo, isn't there?
Personally I reckon the best way to develop the reservoir is to get a couple of production wells via an EPS, 'play around with them' to not only acquire valuable data but also make some significant cashflow, and then progress things from there.
Oh but hang about, that's just what the company's already doing, and always said they'd do, isn't it? Sorry, I'd forgotten.
(Btw, I took that quote out of context, in that recently dspp has put on a different hat, that of a semi-qualified 'Fractured Basement Expert' having been discarded and one more suitable for a semi-qualified 'Convertable Bonds Expert' now on his head.)
As you yourself said earlier,
"when do wells work 'perfectly' ffs??'
Unless it's some sort of anagram. Because they seem to be 'working perfectly well' so far, assuming the RNS's aren't full of lies and the tankers full of water.

I suggest you read Missdosh's posts 14 Feb 2020 10:39, 13 Feb 2020 16:24 and 13 Feb 2020 15:35.
I'm waiting to see if Petroatlantic offloads at Flotta but it's now looking tight for an offload this week. The weather is pretty hostile over the weekend so could be next week.
oh, stop it police. pi sussed -off.
apologiesto allfor earlier typo's: honestly, juststicky juice in thekeyboard (spacebar is worst, annoyingly). If it had been just alcool t'would have been fine.
"...bi****ed..." = '...bit ****ed...', sorry.
Imminent NO load will be quite interesting; wonder if it will shut them up?

True Beerbull, think we will all be a happier bunch when ( I hope) the operations get a clear bill of health in the CMD presentation. Any nasties would have to be aired there. Think we will all be glued to that one - wonder if it will be reported live this time, from memory it was supposed to be last time but got pulled at the last minute?
Dspp & his compadres will be shown as charlatans. Ok there have been issues, but whoever said HUR would be plain sailing. HUR are operating in the real world & nothing, I’ll repeat that nothing has fundamentally changed. I never expected to be able to buy at 15p, but I’m quietly confident this company is more or less on track.
May be being thick here Spruce but I am struggling to decipher bi****ed. And I thought I was a man of the world.
Was it just blackcurrant or was there rum in it?
well well - my money has always been on the giant squid.....its like watching those movies - i wanna shout at trice "don't drill down there...."..lol
i have been doing some scattegraph projections on its feeding times though - and I don't think it will attack until the night before the CMD......
apologies for typo's, someone spilt blackcurrant juice in my keyboard....(not water, blackcurrant juice....)

I might be the ony one, but despite my respect for dspp's analysis on tlf, i'm beginning to get a bi ****ed-off with his doomongering over relatively unimportant issues - especially the conflation of individual 'concerns' and subsequent improbable outcomes. " ...if the wells aren't quite working perfectly..." - when do wells work 'perfectly' ffs?? Get a grip and stop implying Dr Trice is a liar, you tlf dudes.

**** me it looks like if the water doesn’t get us the imbedded derivatives on the bond will.
Failure is certainly going to happen but if these two events don’t bring us down then the guys at TLF will definitely flag the incoming leviathan squid monster to finally sink this investment case that’s clearly full of holes.
