Or did they just release an RNS - full stop? Whatever our premonitions, we've not long to wait now. Enjoy the rest of your holiday and may good news delight soon!
Albi
Yes, logically you are absolutely correct.
Did they release an RNS because they are very confident or have they seen the hugely positive rumours and want to prepare us for a problem with flow or oil type?
Obviously, I'm hoping for fantastic news but not until after my hols as I'm finding it quite tricky logging into my dealing site over here.
Ash,
There is nothing in today's RNS to make anyone feel uneasy about anything. The very fact they are at pains to release one speaks volumes to me and is, in fact, encouraging.
No one knows anything until the next RNS so let's enjoy the moment. WW or not the value will out eventually.
ok guys move on a man made a mistake in a word... let's not persecute the poor soul...we have all misread once or twice in our life even the perfect ones..nothing to see here, let's hope this is a big one...
Jeez, so it was a simple typo, fluid instead of oil.
I am still uneasy about it, hopefully wrongly.
Move on.
Well He did what He said He would do short and sweet but we now know what's happening lets hope we get a good result.
Beggars belief that, on the rare occasion HUR put out an RNS, people ( who have invested hard earned cash) take far less time to read it ( and it was short) and take note of what wording was actually used than the time taken to write something ridiculous on here that gives a whole bunch of others the 'jitters' :-(((
GLA
Well spotted, and corrected.
they used the words "oil type" not "fluid type"
Quite possibly the statement is made to intimate a hope that the “fluid type” is the same as was produced from LC, if it were then that would confirm the theory that the Lincoln/Warwick reservoir is homogenous, and as large as was previously anticipated.
Who knows.
Oil type not fluid type think you read the wrong RNS.
Standard to give the oil API type.
At least they have found oil, just need to know what type and will it flow.
Don't get me wrong, I've got a little bit of money set aside to buy more here on guaranteed good news but there is something in the wording of today's RNS that makes me feel uneasy.
Maybe the words, "fluid type" will come back to haunt us.
Fingers crossed I'm wrong.
At least there is something to test! However given previous sp performance , in advance of official announcements I am not getting carried away.
Lots of Jitters around at the moment for obvious reasons but I am working on the principle of "being greedy whilst others are fearful" and adding steadily to my holding. However there have been some good a valid questions raised around sentiment and price here - ie why are we languishing at these ridiculous low levels. Is one simple explanation that at that the moment we are a one trick pony and having a line of sight to monetisation of the rest of the portfolio is lacking. To that end what are peoples views on how quickly HURR can get an FPSO to Lincoln and / or WW if this is successful?
