"Beverly Smith and Richard Chaffe, the Executive Board have not bought any in the last five years. "
FYI, neither has been on the BoD for a year yet, and Bev Smith has only had an exec role 4 a few months.
I am no defender of high exec pay but some of the comments on here are uninformed, unwarranted, and in some cases downright dumb.
I'm appalled at the suggestion the BoD should be buying shares now or resign. There are some loonies on this BB, and I'm not just talking Kaboom! The BoD are privy to the data and ongoing technical review process, therefore they cannot buy , it's a closed period. Wait until September 11th....
“Interesting tomorrow 14th Aug 2020 is the first day we can...”
We did it for the lulz.
Liking your thinking Goldenbadger1 but have no idea if it's plausible. Perhaps any financial whizz kids on here could comment. Share buybacks I think require shareholders approval, would this apply here too?
Interesting tomorrow 14th Aug 2020 is the first day we can buy the CB's . At these share prices the trading discount should be around 50% of $230m if Hur can seal a deal for $100M THE SAVING would be $30m over 2 years on interest therefore net cost to Hurricane $70m rather than $230 .
Yes we need cash , no there is no repayment issue ..... but how transformational would that be .......and if we are only worth 5p should be a good escape for CB holders ! Have we got the coconuts for doing a deal .
I agree with the sentiment, and the lack of shares held by a board is always disappointing, I’m pretty sure they have been in quite a drawn out blackout period recently with all the well developments.
With Dr Parsley and Mr Tao on the board, I imagine Kerogen are also locked out of selling (or buying) due to inside info.
But a big buy after the next RNS, once all facts are public domain, would do wonders for investor confidence.
and there's another one
Plus any type of bonus she qualifies for, is paid in shares....not spondulix
To have some faith in a Company it is a good idea to see how many on the Board of Directors hold shares. Beverly Smith and Richard Chaffe, the Executive Board have not bought any in the last five years. Four of the non Excutive Board bought some at the end of April around the 11p mark. This does not bode well for decision making. I am an holder but I have no idea why I bought into this Company, fortunately my break even is low teens, give me 14p and I am out.
