And after ALL of yesterdays palaver the 3rd Cargo was over 450K, what was all that bunkum about draughts, Heaves, Storage, Timelines, the guy that puts the laughing pin in the giggling box >450K END OF STORY!
People need to grow up. Some of the conversations on here, when you consider the contributors to this bb are supposed to be adults, are embarrassing to say the least.
The company told us at the cmd what and when announcements would be made, and would rns major setbacks, if any.
It's all hot air, which there is far too much off these days.
Aimop ofcourse

Thanks for that
I was only 100% out.

The AM can pump 31,000 barrels an hour, give or take.
Cebo, have you been on the herbal ciggies again?
Thanks for the replies (and apologies for my typos, 'before the vessels' was supposed to be 'between the vessels').
Have a great day chaps (& chapesses)
SOTB, after reading your post, I contacted Hurricoms (because they obviously work on a Sunday) to see what the plan is - apparently they are contemplating tattooing the total amount of barrels offloaded, onto the side of a solar powered, carbon neutral Giant Squid, before towing the squid up and down the Moray Firth and then into Aberdeen - date and time for the sailing TBC, but I heard (from RedNovember) that they are just waiting for a replacement tow rope to arrive before setting off.
I might be wrong but did anyone notice the AS was only doing about 6 knts on her way to AM. She is now loaded and chomping along at 13 knots. This to me means she is in a rush to pick up another load from where ever. Does this mean we might have been a few days early for our pick up due to availability. Looks like she was pumping from AM for approx 21 hrs but I cant find at what rates, think I recall someone saying 15000 bbs an hour which might indicate a shy load. Any thoughts.
See your point John. Bit more calculating involved there.
What we do know is the AM has 11 storage tanks and can hold a total of 98073m3. We know at the moment we're producing between 14,000 and 15,000 bopd or 350,000 to 450,000 barrels per 27 days (approx) - If we allow say 2 to 3 months downtime due to weather (give or take) - then the indication is at least x 9 to 10 tanker offloads per annum. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less. Of course production could also increase on a daily rate ... I'll leave the serious calcs to Laserdisc and the engineers on here!
You can't surmise much from the timeline. It might have been unsafe for AS to move away from AM in the middle of the night. Best wait for Amaja to come through with the numbers, if he does.
That's great. I was thinking more about the transfer time before the vessels. As an office worker from the Midlands I assume that, due to the position of the well (and the weather that implies, especially as winter approaches) and the availability of the shuttle tankers (and how that fits into the weather windows), we cant necessarily read too much into the timing of the offloads?
Given that timeline the parcel may actually be >450k.
Johnpwh,
Laserdisc has been running calculations over on Advfn. So far the pattern is an offload of between 350,000 and 450,000 per 27 days (roughly speaking) - at this rate the next offload will fall on St Leger's day on 14 September and the income generated on that 4th offload at that point is likely, in total, to stand at or just shy of $100,000,000.
It tells us the wells are still flowing with no sign of reduction in production.......will there be an RNS released for the departure from the Lancaster field with this cargo or do we gave to wait till it reaches port ?
What does the unloading time tell us about the size of the offload, seemed to 'mate' about 8.30 yesterday. Genuine question, any opinions?
The Amundsen Spirit has departed the Aoka Mizu!
Glad I made you smile doc. Chat seems positive tonight. My money is on a 41p finish tomorrow - quite literally! ... which means a further slide no doubt.
Petethestreet, Just catching up on the chatter today now and yours had me chuckling.Says exactly what I ( and probably most of us) am feeling right now. The market really despises those humongous offloads of barrels of oil literally now into 7-figure sums. Who'd go and want to buy into a stock like that? All that revenue and all. Jeez, the mind boggles!
Snail, ADUK I’m with you. Of course if we are waiting for 6mths fliows from Lancs or the big buy out today’s sp is irrelevant (ish). Nether the less fcuk fcukety fcuk! Fcuk off siht SP just fcuk off!!
AD....... you are right Im in that stock too ......annoyingly it was up over 4% earlier. Anyway were 3.47 % down here now so fcuk it ....yes ....let's complain !!!
Snail,
"the " fossil fuel " sector is off around 3% today . We are at present off around 2.33% ( live price at 14.30) . Can't complain then eh.... ?"
Sorry, but why not? Yes I can (and am) complaining. I'm looking at another AIM-listed oil-sector stock I hold and so far it's UP 2.17% today. If the market wants to play the violin, why does it have to so so with HUR?
(Gnashing of teeth, etc...)
the " fossil fuel " sector is off around 3% today . We are at present off around 2.33% ( live price at 14.30) .
Can't complain then eh.... ? Another tanker full of oil may help !
I've seen predictions of '£ 5-10' and sometimes £10.
Richard Bernstein of Crystal Amber once said he thought HUR could one day be valued at £17 billion, which I suppose would be about £8 per share.
If HUR makes the progress we expect and matches the expected production figures, I would be amazed if major shareholders accepted an offer of 150p per share.
If such an offer coincided with a depressed oil sector, I think they would wait for conditions to improve before considering an offer.
