Gengis + JBass - Totally concur. Frustrates the hell out of impatient me.
"But the failure of this share to reflect success is still beyond me."
It's also making a complete mockery of the unjust and broken financial instrument they call AIM.
daltry
Of course you are right.
But the failure of this share to reflect success is still beyond me.
A2UK -
This share is hugely widely held by small private investors, like myself. Once we have bought what we want, there is precious little more money available. Small shareholders have no muscle here. We are easily spooked. I'll bet every time the MMs dump the price some poor sod bails out. Nerves. The reasons can be outside the fundamentals of HUR. Nervous of being overly committed on this alleged 'sure thing'., or, just domestic financial pressures. This BB adds to the heady mix.
Everybody has known about this stock forever, and all news is expected to be positive - almost as a right! The few institutions invested are harvesting our emotions, as they know how the game is played.
No tree grows to the sky; certainly not in as straight line.(figure of speech - so please don't argue this one!).
Most of us think we are financially savvy, but not to the level of the professionals. That's why they are paid so much.
Any doubts about HUR. Then sell. This has always been a long term hold. GLA

JayKay1,
"Go figure ;o)"
I've given up trying to do that, because it does my poor little brain in. Or might turn me into some weirdo kind of conspiracy-theorist.
I reckoned (way back when), that when all the milestones to be passed HAD been passed (as they have), this SP should be at some sort of midpoint towards the 'analysts' forecasts. 80p, maybe. But not where we're at, pre-Spirit, pre-hookup, pre-FoiL, and so on. Summat 'respectable', echoing the 'fundamentals'.
And people like Wellwell can bang on until the cows come home about 'risk', but anyone unprepared to deal with that shouldn't think about driving a car, let alone investing in AIM-listed O&G.
But there's no explaining human nature. People are prepared to pour fortunes (and lose them) into Ellon Musk, with his shoddy car and ideas about going to Mars, whereas sombody opening up new frontiers to disprove (yet again) the 'peak oil' fallacy is shrugged off like a snake-oil salesman.
It defies all logic.
JayKay,
"WW: You're not usually one to be taking the word of SotB at face value!"
Anyone that does so is a blithering idiot.
Though despite our various and frequent differences of opinion, I'd never call Wellwell that.
Mind you, SotB sometimes has his moments of lucidity, and this BB would (IMHO) be impoverished without his presence, even if he writes some daft things at times.
But so do I...
Wellwell,
Just WHEN are you going to give up your negativity? It's becoming laughable.
"Think of a bottle of coke.
-Very fizzy when opened."
Think of someone in an office and a line of coke. Gets opinionated, hammers his keyboard to bore people to death.
"-Fizzy when reopened."
Likewise. Continues.
"-Still fizzy next time"
Though people are getting bored with him repeating himself.
"-Flat as a pancake next time."
Too tired to write anything sensible when all the things he's been saying won't work, actually do.
spirit are paying for 3 drills this year not hur
out of placings or loans,
lancaster is producing world class
flow rates until we are told differently
bringing in cash flow for ?
Following on from SotB's post, I get that 350k was loaded. BUT- any well that's shut in will build up pressure. It's possible that the two wells flowed prolifically once production started but the true indicator is over time.

Sonofthebull that’s a bit controversial for you! Did someone in the lunch queue tell you something ?
..not sure Lancaster is problem, was with Barclay Capital today (they were involved with monetising HE first lifting) and they said Kerogen are VERY happy with HUR investment(!). Tooo much M&M is causing the SP to drift. Dr R-T loves his rocks too much.
Just that 350,000 bbl was recently offloaded and sold.
Johnpw,
It's very likely that Dr T is knee deep in data, he's not your typical CEO.
Equities pretty lacklustre in general right now, HUR suffering from the general malaise...
What’s to say Lancaster not playing ball is why the share price is where it is !
indeed this is a ten year plan in the
making sit on your hands
small M caps can cut you up in an instant
letting out so called freinds
Timing worked well and I was lucky enough to reduce here following FOil and increase my holding in RBD prior to WN results. However, I've reversed that today. RBD looks great, but I think success at Warwick Deep and the planned CMD means that in the short term I should re-balance towards HUR. Hoping for a flare over the next week and for positive reservoir indications in a couple of weeks.
GLA
Olly
Agree re RBD. I was hoping to top slice here to increase there, but will hang in here till CMD now, at least..
The train over there is just leaving the station, imho.
Olly / Thanks i will have a look .
extrader/aduk
I am of course famous for my forbearance, but the hordes grow restless......
Oi
Not to worry Johnpwh, more likely he's still trying to wash the oil off his Sunday best.
"Oy ! Longwait, Leave Gomez alone !" (quoth extrader)
Seconded. Kamaz is one of the good guys.
Jim ,my post may have been a little misleading,i did not sell today,i sold in 3 batches 58.3--58.8 and 53.01.over the last few weeks.I have large holdings in rbd and ujo and wanted to increase whilst prices were low, very glad i did,no regrets. If you have spare cash you might want to look them over, still not to late, lots to go for yet.whatever you do i wish you luck.
