Phew! You just never quite know ... enjoy the sunshine.
LongWait, Albi, et Al - Don’t worry. My lovely wife is fine and well, here, with me, enjoying a month’s holiday in the Canary Islands.
All a bit of fun and tongue in cheek. Sometimes, this BB gets a bit too serious. I only believe the HUR RNSs when they come out. What is published on this BB is just people’s’ views and suggestions. Make of all comments what you will, but I ONLY absorb and believe the RNSs. Waiting is the hardest part....Weather here is 25C and not a cloud in the sky......2 weeks left....
We should certainly be concerned, Albi, as from what I've heard, those Ukrainian women are not to be trusted any more than those shorters.
I've only I'd worded my advice more carefully!
Daltry
I feel we should be concerned re. your post of 18.23 ... though it's the thought that counts, so thanks. I hope I don't live to regret posting that.
No, she passed. ‘Do not resuscitate’ we both agreed.........I think.....
I just have to nip over to the Ukraine, and get another. I’m told it’s the ‘Bride-Basket’ of the western world! All blondes and under 30.
I ‘ll just have to make do with that.
Is Blue Eyes free? She’s got a good sense of humour......
Hope it's not too late to revive your wife, Daltry.
If you can possibly revive her, could you please explain to her that you completely misinterpreted my 'advice' on human sacrifice.
LongWait - I have just sacrificed my wife - on your suggestion of how to possibly get the SP up! I’ll always try anything!
I have always thought of myself as a simple, primitive, and uncomplicated individual. It will all be blue on Monday, you’ll see!
'Just bizarre that Barclays, Ashcroft et al did not see this before first oil but do after 8 off takes. It seems analysts respond to share price as opposed to research and evidence.'
I think that's more or less the point I have repeatedly been making - and I gave the example of Goldman Sachs belatedly noticing that the oil supply had 'rebalanced' itself, but only after the oil price had recovered strongly after falling to the 20s.
This interpretation of reality has more to do with the thinking of primitive people than that of people living in the twenty-first century.
People used to sacrifice their first-born sons because they thought the gods were angry with them and that they must have done something wrong.
The scribblers seem to think that HUR must have done something wrong for it to have such a lowly share price.
It hasn't.
“ What a sophisticated investment strategy... and two 'reccommend's' to-boot!- why didn't you just visit an online casino? Unless you didn't really buy more...“
I did go to a casino it’s called HUR and at this price I am happy with my bet we are a producer with a lot of upside unless we have been lied to and maybe a takeover.
And yes I am a buyer now with 400k of these suckers.
LW your handle implies you did not expect this to be over night!
I can remember posters dismissing the idea of HUR becoming producer as it was never their ‘model’.
The market seems determined to ‘top end’ the risk here and simply willl not see UK fractured basement play as anything but very high risk. Just bizarre that Barclays, Ashcroft et al did not see this before first oil but do after 8 off takes. It seems analysts respond to share price as opposed to research and evidence. I await post CMD to top up to 350k from 272k. I may miss a 20% rise but would still be buying sub 20p.
FWIW I ‘can’ write off the 272k to nil should Dr T stand up at CMD, wink at Jamie Ashcroft and DSPP and say ‘fair play lads. You’re right we’ve been selling to Evian this last 9 months. ‘
??
I think he disagrees with you DOD. I think his research concludes there is value here. You may have come to a different conclusion but it does not mean he is wrong and a crazy gambler. Surely you are not that arrogant?
You know, PTS, I remember four or five years ago, a poster getting anxious and wanting to buy because he was afraid that the price would double overnight on announcement of good news.
I didn't feel that way and think that, generally, buying for that reason doesn't work out well.
But It just shows you what the market (manipulators) have done to investor confidence.
At that time, the company was still trying to find its way, years away from production, with most posters thinking it would not become a producer but would have to find a major to do the producing.
It HAS become a producer, yet Ashcroft says its future is in the hands of financiers and Hosie says it's not a stable producer.
I don't know whether the price has bottomed yet, but it looks as though more and more people are doubting whether the SP can stay below 15 p for long and if no-one any longer believes it can, then I suppose it won't, in which case it will be ready to take off, and by all means wait for the CMD before topping up.
We are all doomed if you read most of the rubbish on here so I topped up another 150k of shares today although I am 50% down on the rest worth a punt at this price I hope.
Looks like sp will dither here until 25th March. Experience with this share is such that there is never any point taking risk as one is never rewarded for it. Therefore I have come to the conclusion that it is better to wait for the capital markets day and see what is reported before topping up. Have a great weekend fellow inmates of the HUR nursing home..
