I’m curious Mabesyes, which retrospective court case would that be?
Is there one in progress?
There is no doubt Maris has some serious questions to answer with regard to his past decision making, and I believe in future his actions will be scuritised in a UK Law Court in retrospective action taken by a group of current shareholders. However it is the current /future action of the BOD that will determine their competence to deliver value for all shareholders, but be assured everyone is scrutinising their actions.
Just because someone has money doesn't mean they are smart. Yes, I'm looking at CA with their 30% share and deciding who is on the BoD
I fail to comprehend why they are still there........Maris's first CEO job, and useless at it.
This is the REAL reason why the SP is where it is.
A forward thinking good CEO of reputation would boom this share price.
Maris and Co need to answer for their gross incompetent behaviour in the handling of affairs in this company, so much money wasted in corrupt handling of negotiations, this needs investigating further.
not spending 50 mill buying bonds back at +30c in $ - 100 mill wasted
not renewing AK lease for 3 years at 25K a day (we pay 75K a day) - 56 mill wasted
scam plan costs - +17 mill wasted
surrendering a well tested at 10K bpd, with tie-back kit already bought -
+173 mill wasted, not counting the 10k well (5k to us)
i feel a wasted +400 mill headache coming on and my abacus has exploded
HUR and Spirit said that 'financial constraints' justified stopping the development of GWA Lincoln and returning the licence back to the authorities. This is a well that flowed 10k bopd of light oil - I just don't understand the logic of this. Beyond logical but I'm sure there's a political reason somewhere lurking like everything today
From 2019 -
'A positive sign arrived on Monday, when Hurricane confirmed the well had produced oil to surface.
And yesterday, in another update, Hurricane chief executive Robert Trice said he was “delighted” with Lincoln Crestal’s performance, sending the firm’s shares up 5.17% to 47.64p in London.
Dr Trice said the well had achieved a maximum stable flow rate of almost 10,000 barrels per day.
He said the well confirmed the presence of light oil which can be produced at commercial rates and that Lincoln Crestal would likely be tied back to Aoka Mizu next year.
That would make Lincoln the second producing basement field in the UK, after Lancaster.'
