oh well the joys of ship watching was in port 13:58 LT (UTC)

Thought it was a bit early for a full load, wasn't expecting a tanker for the next lift until around the 16 /17th
The destination now showing Macduff.
The plot thickens, the Pearly Spirit has left the AM and is heading in a SE direction at 12 knots.
If, IF, 'all things being equal', where should (could) the SP of HUR actually 'be', in relation to 'other' oil producers, at the moment? NOT this 'low' surely?
"It is only my opinion but I think the PS is now hooked up to the AM."
I'm hoping that one of 'our' on scene recce parties, pop into this BB and give us a visual confirmation ;-)
Does appear to be an 'opportune' offloading rather than pre-planned though. Just musing but could be a joint venture to take advantage of the current oil price and/or clear the tanks for maintenance and/or unplanned shutdown (or there's actually a real F&G event on the Glen Lyon during unloading ops) or perm any couple from those. Doubt we'll ever find out the whole story
In any event, if she's been to the Glen Lyon and the AM, someone is communicating with someone to make it happen ;-)
i think if there has been an increase in production - it would have been announced in the last rns. maybe taking advantage of high oil prices in case price drops?

Often wondered about split loads, I have seen them visit the same FPSO a couple of times, taking a part load and then returning a few days later to top up. they usually go to anchor at Lerwick or SF in between.
It is only my opinion but I think the PS is now hooked up to the AM.
lets just wait and see mr dilution.
What a laughable post y11-shx.
As expected from you, Mr Intu.
The water cut has dropped again and so they are producing from both wells to see what effect this has, so production is slightly up and with the rise in oil prices the extra cash will go along way.
I guess another scenario could be the Glen Lyon had offloading issues/unplanned shutdown etc so the PS has diverted to the AM to fill up there. Do these shuttle tankers take split loads? can't see why not as metering would take care of who's is whose.

You are spot-on, I checked her out yesterday and her destination was Glen Lyon.
Sorry for the double post.

That always a possibility, but if it is not a weather problem it means they have found a way of stepping up throughput.
We are due a production update this month so you would imagine they would want to get every last litre of oil into the Tanker.
But sure, let's pretend and hope that production is 15k/day lol.
Until the trading update that is.. :')
slipanchor,
There's always the possibility of AM being EMPTIED for any maintenance works/shutdowns required. Sure it may be 400-450k barrels, but a lot of this would have been the leftover amounts from previous offload.
The production will not have changed, I'm pretty certain that due to the BHP and watercut management, production will constantly be reducing, at a steady state (that's what good control is).
Unless ofcourse you believe that the so called "perched water" has been emptied and HUR are able to produce at max oil again. But i'd laugh at you if you believed that :)

Interesting to note that PS has come direct from Glen Lyon where she appeared to be hooked up. Currrent reported draught 9.4m. She is due in Rotterdam on the 15th so she could be waiting a day or two before hooking up. My guess would be around 400k (32 X 12.5) and in line with guidance.
@SlipAnchor - Is the early offload due to bad weather being predicted later in the week?
Slift
The last load departed on the 3rd Feb making the interval between loads 31days.
500K Barrels x 31 days = 16.12 bpd
450k Barrels x 31 days = 14 5 bpd
400k Barrels x 31 dasy = 12.9 bpd
I would expect the idiot remark from the other brainless punt but I would have thought you would have at least put your brain int gear before making such remarks.
Slift alert don’t believe a word that muppet posts.
Idiot alert.
Production is not going to be 14.7k so you can calm down.
troll alert!!! They hate positivity, the boat is another full load so production looking stable.
Deadline for Lincoln P&A fast approaching June 2021 with no sign of rig contracts to complete P&A.
Is this well going to be tied back?
Is the deadline going to be extended once more?
Even I am tempted to try trading here now.
Yo team. Relax.
Production is not going to be 14.7k lol.
Try 11.7k average at best.
I'd imagine with the sidetrack deferred, current production will likely be reduced significantly to preserve BHP and to manage water cut to allow for economical production for another year.
