would you rather get advice from someone invested or someone with nothing to lose? Don't answer that, its a rhetorical question. There are people posing here who lost £350,000 GBP's. I once had that amount invested but didn't;t lose it all. Why? I listened finally to other voices, specifically DSPP on LF. And it was a bitter pill. I sold at 14.5p and got off without damage. There were people then speaking as many still do and they were all wrong then before 7z watered out and 6 declined.
If this was once 62p and I held 100,000 shares do you really think I care if the share price rose from 0.7p to 7p? No because it's still down by £55k. This is only a good investment to penny share buyers at 0.7p. ZERO POINT SEVEN PENCE.
CA is about to be wound up.
The reservoir is depleting and watering out. If oil hadn't rallied this would still be at 1p.
Good night. And god bless.
Iam here to see my investment grow it makes me mad people like you that are not invested trying to bring down my investment with your constant negative pitch

Give your head a wobble!
what is it ripraor that qualifies you to say anything?
"bla bla bla". Do you do any research? I am a completions/interventions and decommissioning subject matter expert. I'm accredited as such with support from my peers. I've spoken to audiences of 1000 people about the market and specifically interventions, P&A and MER alongside CEO's of many companies. I speak to MD's. asset managers and MD's, PT's, RE's on a daily basis. I have degrees and SPE papers in my name. I am a member of OGUK/OGA/OWI/DecomNS and SPE to name a few and a previous investor in Hurricane before my understanding of what was happening changed I understand the geological challenges. It dawned on me that this is not what people thought it was but is instead a dead duck. Now. What's your story?
bla bla bla
The company itself acknowledges the reservoir is depleting. What part of this regurgitation of reality don't you believe? You are (all 13 to date who tickets this ludicrous post up) in absolute denial. At least from the current stance of one well. That does not mean other moves may be possible but seriously, to suggest a companies performance is directly linked to some random guys posts one bulletin board is not the basis of an investment decision. Please before you all lose sh*tloads of money be careful, or at least, don't invest more than you can afford to lose.
It is a good question. Looking at the geology it seems to me that 6 is drilled above 7z and both are in the upper reservoir sections. Dr T drilled a few wells and zero'd in on the sweet spots. A new drill would need to be outside of the reach of 6 and 7z and I'm not sure what the viability of the reservoir is beyond these two wells.
Potatohead - Good question.
Why are they not drilling more wells, if this is producing 8500bpd. Seems to me, there's a lot more than one inch left.
"“This is something everyone should keep in mind - HUR are totally exposed to a single well, a single pump, a single FPSO”"
You forgot to mention the single pump is pumping $25 million per pump and oil prices look like they are staying high for the foreseeable future and the money for the bonds almost here. There is something not right about all this."
You seem to not realise that instead of having a metaphorical swimming pool full of the black stuff, HUR is now down to the bottom inch of the bath and unless they drill a new well the bath is only going to continue to empty.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't one half of the dual redundant semi-submersible pump on the 6 well already failed, and did so early on?

Thank you for reminding me. It really was stupid of me to forget.
But in fact you are wrong on one point as it is not a single pump. The well has a dual redundant downhole Electric Submersible Pump.

"fandg2 that's a sore one! I hope you manage to recover your losses somehow."
Cheers, the 'somehow' is buying on the dips and selling on the highs with some of my pot. Sold a 3rd at a stupendous loss prior to the court case, to have at least something to play with, if there was a way back up as I wasn't putting anymore new money in on this one. Managed to turn £1300 ISA money into just over £6k and £6k SIPP money into £22k at the moment. Expectations are uber low now and not expecting to get it all back but as long as that 6 well keeps going I'll keep nibbling away at my deficit.
" A salutary lesson"
Yep reason why I post my loss occasionally. "Just can't see Hurricane failing" resonated with me from 3 years ago. FPSO in the yard, 1 billion barrels in the fields, subsea work all done, only 200 million debt, big forward plan on 3 licences, just could'nt see Hurricane failing.
"Large oil companies are somewhat 'protected' when a individual well or reservoir encounters problems that were not anticipated. In HUR's case they are very exposed to such events, as are their investors."

Large oil companies are somewhat 'protected' when a individual well or reservoir encounters problems that were not anticipated. In HUR's case they are very exposed to such events, as are their investors.
"Just can't see Hurricane failing. Time will tell. If I had more money then I'd invest a big portion in Hurricane."
My thoughts about 3 years ago and I did invest a big portion, currently down about 350k between my SIPP and ISA. Please don't take anything for granted with this one. Plenty of things to upset the apple cart still
Without proper update of ??? oil CPR and replacement of bad BOD who damaged this share .this share not worth more than it cost now
.
Oil prices will continue to rise due to inflation and supply shortages. Yes hurricane have had their fair share of financial difficulties, but I see a much brighter future than the share price reflects.
The UK, more than ever, know the importance of having your own commodities and not being reliant on foreign relations. Just can't see Hurricane failing. Time will tell. If I had more money then I'd invest a big portion in Hurricane.
