Yes, whatever happened to 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery'? Accept there are instances where folk push it beyond that but sometimes it just seems a bit much.

Hello Reverandy
48.95p
Parkinson UK
Thanks
A fiver for your Hospice regardless
50p please Rev, Help4Heroes. Unless we have outstanding news on Friday, in which case I will go for 45p. :-)
So 50p H4H please.
I note that one regular poster on this BB hasn't entered the sweepstake.
C'mon, SIPP, what's your 'guess' ?
What on earth are you suggesting LONGWAIT ..... that my contributions are looking well researched, learned, and erudite. Even I would have difficulty in agreeing with you.
Hopefully a known but great unknown. Need to speak to Rumsfeld for the definitive phrase. This week looking good, that is until the great orange one tweets..
Obviously this is totally hypothetical and has no relevance or meaning, but if you went back to early 2016 before the first big rights issue when Kerogen bought into HUR, the company had roughly 634M shares in issue (981M after the Kerogen deal).
Given an Mcap today of roughly £931M (1.99B shares @46.8p) then the SP would be roughly 147p if only 634M shares are in issue.
On a more serious note, the fact that there are 2B shares in issue is irrelevant went it comes to moving the SP.
GLA.
Wow! Not in the red! Smiley face
I'm not sure whether that's a known unknown or an unknown unknown, but I am sure the manipulators would have found a way to get the price down to this level anyway.
Hopefully Friday will be HURs day, but surely crude spike & sustained higher prices will eventually effect sp... an interesting week ahead.
Out of interest, if there had been no share dilution what would the SP be now?
This is exactly what I was saying before about the SP and was pooh poohed for it.
About 1/3 of our MC is related to our current production, hence big swings in PoO don't really impact us much.
We are valued on the promise of future production and future prices, both of which are uncertain....only time will help us get the future possibilities added to the SP.
At least if nothing else it should answer the argument that was going on a few months ago here about whether we were linked to POO! I think that's properly answered it today for sure.
I don't disagree Chablard but sometimes you do begin to wonder at what goes on behind this sp and where it could wind up. Has me well and truly stumped this one.
GLA
Tedious and childish

Concerns about the global economy, interest rate cuts in the US, recession indicators etc. having been pointing to a downturn in oil prices. That said, somewhat eerily, there was a lot of bullish buying last week. Back to Hurricane's status, interim results on Friday plus next DST results on Warwick West (formerly known as Crestal).
No-one's too sure how Brent will behave until they have a clearer picture of production down time at Aramco. Obviously based on the projected low demand against a downturn in economic growth short positions were placed with the expectation Brent would fall.
So back to known unknowns and unknown unknowns ... to quote Rumsfeld.
