Sorry chaps, I am an horneythologist, always interested in birds.
Is that news on the birds or news on the company? Just so I know what time to time in.
I'm laughing that there will be people coming onto the message board to find out more about hummingbird and they are literally finding out more about the birds! haha
For more info on the company click here https://www.lemonfool.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=23676
For info on the actual birds click here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummingbird
News out tomorrow I reckon.
Hi GoldenBull!
OK, so it seems hummingbirds are better-traveled than I was taught.
When in lived in Los Angeles one nested in a tree right outside my window - an Anna's Hummingbird, I think. It laid the tiniest egg imaginable - no bigger than a newborn baby's fingernail.
Maybe the RNS this morning means the selling has finally finished. If so, this could rerate quite quickly.
Sirius and Hummingbird are chalk and cheese.
Hummingbird will make you money imho.
I feel your pain Bankerman. Hopefully you can get your head above water soon and take a big breath/sigh of relief.
We had them in our Florida Garden you can buy a honey type syrup to put in a saucer like feeder they are amazing to watch closely and can be quite unconcerned about being close. Which leads me to ask if anyone's bought price is anywhere close to my 39.20 pp on 4/12/17 which ranks as the most stupid purchase of my life so far other than topping up on Sirius :( Anyone wants to follow my tips I bought intoLloyds this morning
How about Tit Gold ?

Hi Tiger
I actually saw Hummingbirds, lots of them on a cruise around Madagascar, Seychelles and Maldives. Madagascar is classed as Africa, Maldives South Asia. The Hummingbirds I saw were in Maldives so technically off the coast of Africa. I had Hummingbirds in a Canadian holiday home and I thought that they travelled between North and South America.
You can imagine my surprise to see them in the Indian Ocean, so maybe a few got lost in Africa.
Hi GoldenBull!
On this most crucial and important issue, I do believe you may be wrong...
https://www.dkfindout.com/uk/animals-and-nature/birds/hummingbirds/
In Africa, sunbirds fill the ecological niche that hummingbirds fill in the Americas.
I hope you're right about the dam cracking. God only knows, it's about time. The EV/EBITDA on this share is about 1.5, which is ridiculous(ly good).
Hummingbirds are in Africa, I have not been to Mali but they do migrate.
The dam is breaking.
Hummingbirds have the ability to hover (their SP ?)
They have the ability to fly backwards when absolutely necessary (acts of god)
They are very good at finding the very best feeders.
When they move, they fly.
They are a delight to watch in a troubled world.
Just my little joke Carribbean.
But there have never been tigers in Africa....
Tiger Gold
Tiger Gol;-)
I've decided to finally ask the question that has always bothered me about Hummingbird.
Why Hummingbird? I know "a rose by any other name would smell as sweet", and a gold mine by any other name would be as profitable. But hummingbirds are American birds, and Hummingbird is an African miner. Why not "Sun Bird Gold" - that would be more fitting ornithologically? Or "Chimp Gold"? Or "Pygmy Hippo Gold?"
Yours, puzzled and confused,
Tiger
