Finally getting a rise!!! Lets hope it holds!!!
Its getting better every time.... a long way to go though !
I was talking to some people at HSS head office last week and they have had a few positive announcements so looking good again bought some shares in HSS again this week
The 2 month chart tells its own story... up up up...
Good luck with that Jambon, I hope for your sake you are correct, but I really don't see it.
its like mcdonalds. its all about location location location location. hss have it. the larger retail sector is struggling with mothercare/toys r us etc....for the construction\ services sector carrilion has gone interserve may well be next that has a big knock on effect.....the ftse might be doing well on the back of the dow boom but were in a harsh period. hss is still undervalued according to its own estimate including all its debt by around 20% and its not a business that can really work "online only" a bit like mothercare and buying toddlers things "sight unseen". in the short term it should make some, in the long term I think it has a much better chance than interserve of getting back on its feet as it hasn't even hit its net worth yet on SP.......I would be in for the 20% at least.
Hss is currently 46 percent up from its year low.... if people were to have bought back at the low rather than just posting unfounded tosh they might make some money!!
And to top it off he is massively under water in speedyhire lol !! So he came to the competitor's chat room to chat shlt lol !!
This rumbers2 character is just some boiler room monkey who posts rubbish and lies with no credibility....
I think that Jambon is correct here and it does look like they are already delivering. You should have listened to this morning's presentation. The mystery that amazes me is the number of people that appear on bulletin boards slating a company. What is their purpose in life?
Jambon you really are embarrassing as you blunder from forum to forum spouting absolute rubbish.Carillion was the last company you were gushingly singing the praises of ad nauseam until you suddenly vamoosed the day before its demise. HSS a has debt pile of 232 million and will spend yet a further 70 million implementing yet another round of cost-saving measures which will save at best 6 million per annum. These same changes started years ago and were such an abysmal failure that even the last CEO threw in the towel. It's the perennial promise of 'jam tomorrow' with HSS which always fails to deliver.
I heard the same things a while back rich but it is still here and turned the corner.... i would expect to see 50 - 60p share price by xmas if they keep going as they are
Good luck but it is still a basket case, some will no doubt believe that it is recoverable and you will see some short term gains, but ultimately it is a lost cause
Anyone buying now is in for a good profit if they sit tight for a year or two...
Dialled into the investor/analyst presentation of the resulkts this morning. It certainly looks encouraging and we should continue to see further good progress and momentum. They delivered the presentation with confidence so that should start to flow through with improvements in the share price.
Well a few weeks ago i thought we might hit high 30s by the end of play today but to be honest we have been lucky to be around 30p with the way the market has been lately!! Good luck to all holders tomorrow!!
Its getting up steadily so far... we a need a big 15 percent single day rise!!
Can’t be bad news because of the regulatory requirement to disclose as soon as you know. This means that more likely to be stable or better than previously mentioned. Not long to go now.
Will we get good news or will we get bent over !!! Hopefully they are still in profit every month and its growing month on month!!
That would be a very small profit at that price, it depends whats in the full year results really... if it looks like its still improving month on month then i will hold for a long while yet
Hope your right jambon. Will you stick it out afterwards? Think I'd be happy to bank the profit and move on.
39p is my prediction
What's happened this morning? Is it just that volumes are so low price movements seem large in %?
Release date confirmed as 5/4/2018. Should make for interesting reading.
I feel the dept can only reduce once the company is making proper profits again... so the turning the business around needs to come first, to be honest if the cost were out of control then cost cutting is also the first job to do... build from the bottom up... im reasonably confident in this share
