Who remotely competes and has the same scale and brand? The only way I see this going with there being so much consolidation in the transports and logistics sector is it being bought out. Let’s hope someone comes in whilst the SP is where it is
Buying not moving the sp.
Good luck shareholders. Questor tip in the DT, usually sees the sp crash. He is not always wrong so best wishes.
Daily telegraph says a buy. For the assets of 605p, dividends decently covered by earnings and the agreement with Just Group for £1.8 million to insure pension scheme against future payments.
Share price not making any progress today, but hopefully that's a few more of Downing Strategic Micro Caps holding in HSP sold off.
Stargate - what is an overhead supply. Anything to do with trams?
Downing Strategic Micro Cap I.T had 3.89% on 5th Feb and they are winding down so selling off their holding.
Thus that will probably restrain share price until they are out..
Leading stock in sector today, and bullish break above pivot high price of 12/2/24. HSP, is now printing a new 18 month high price. This 18 month new high, is significant, because it means there is no recent overhead supply, from previous trading volume, to impede upward movement in the share price.
Encouraged by the results and generally they seem to have a handle on putting HMRS back to profitability.
Nothings certain in this world, but assuming thing go to plan this share could do well over the next few years.
DYOR
Mixed update but more good news than bad for me and the news about HMRS was not entirely unexpected anyway as you say.
There's plenty of value here. Forward PE of about 11 (and now) a tasty divi of about 8% and a NAV of around 700p so I'm not selling any of mine.
Buys seem to be matching sells this morning and might even over take them later.
Whilst HRMS disappointing it only reflects the current state of the German economy.
Other divisions are trading well and the surprise, almost as an aside, is the dividend increase of 70 odd % "for the foreseeable future."
At a forward yield of 8%+ I am topping up.
I sold and then missed the potential buyback opportunity a week or so ago. If we can just get back below 450...
back of the *** packet relating the proposed return of capital in land div of c28million relative to mv.
perhaps i need to recalculate!!
How do you get 9% please
Nice update on the 4.30 call - clear focus on reducing NAV discount. Buyback mooted once pension issue sorted.
Simon Thomson also upgraded target price to £7.

What's not to like? Strong revenue increases in Services, good results in Land and promise of a return of capital to boot!
The latter plus the continuing German contribution probably points to a yield of circa 9% over the next few years.
Expect a rebound when AIM starts to get more positive after 2 years of decline.

Talking to myself but bang on cue Singers have upped FY25 forecast and FY24 dividend. NAV also upped. Target price upped from 710 to 770. Obvious buy and hold
Expect the analysts upgrades to come within a week. Easy buy and hold to £6 minimum. Singers will upgrade target to £7.50-£8 IMO. Very strong results
Well that was an enjoyable read. Excellent stuff
Tomorrow should be enlightening. I think there is a lot of hidden value with HSP. No debt. Steady revenues and profit. Strong tailwinds for decent chunks of the business. I note the 1 year forward p/e of 7 does not yet include the renewables upside recently announced by the company. Current NAV, as well as Singers' price target of 710p, does not include this upside.
I expect a material upgrade tomorrow by Singers (i.e. the company). On a current p/e of 6, with no debt, this looks at danger of a takeover unless the market rerates this to at least £6.
DYOR.
GLA
Not much buying interest recently
annoyingly large spread not helping
Very promising update this morning especially concerning the return to shareholders over the next five years. Topped up this morning
Well, we had the notice of interim results, and now we have had the confirmation of interim results for the 25th.
These results must be very good, if they have announced them twice. Looking forward to it.
