The other half back at just under 593p
Well timed.. hopefully pick up again after the summer.
At under 605p ,half of those that I sold at over 662p two weeks ago
Saw the ft100 1.95% lower at open .
This down 2.63% bought both sales of this day week back, W in ISA 638.4p set last week, cheaper transfer even with the costs .
Then got the D sale back at 637p
RNS buy back.
Berenberg raises HSBC price target to 820 (780) pence - 'buy'
The sales in Canada and France should be completed in the first part of 2024 which most likely will result in a sizeable return of capital to shareholders.
A few at over 662p.
HSBC share price has potential to go up a great deal from here.
HSBC remains my largest holding.
Tried to view the we cast but it says I need an HSBC email.
I suspect someone has made a mistake
Excellent
another 2 Billion dollar share buyback - another 10C second quarter dividend
Twice first all in W for 651.2p
Then tranche in D for 655p.
News of banks making more profits due to higher interest rates .
Thanks Scie. Slow n Steady sums up my Racehorses (shares) to date, haha.
Not to mention our Portfolios. Except 2016 when they doubled, before settling back into slumber. But I'm Ok with that. My Hsba shares are currently up 40% or so.
I am back in here based on good momentum and a good dividend. I last invested in 2022 and made a profi of 20% so hopefully a similar return this time.
When first announced, estimates were maybe 23 cents. The sale however has been put back to later in 2024, and may slip further due to same reasons of Canadian purchaser requiring to increase capital adequacy under regulatory control in uncertain economic situation, and if there's a recession. French sale faltered due to same/similar, and has ended up with not the entire show now being sold but HSBC retaining portions.
Slow n steady is a really good name, mine was just because I like science stuff.
Could anyone advise me please as to when (if) a Special Dividend from the Canada sale is expected? And any idea how much?
Thanks in advance.
