Peel Hunt LLP Appointed as Joint Corporate Broker to Hochschild Mining
Hochschild Mining PLC ("Hochschild" or the "Company") (LSE: HOC) (OTCQX: HCHDF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Peel Hunt LLP as joint corporate broker to the Company alongside RBC Capital Markets and J.P. Morgan Cazenove with immediate effect.
@MasterRSI
That aged well...I'm surprised that many are still so adamant HOC and FRES are bargains waiting to pop and long-term holds. They're both essentially hedge fund playthings whose share prices do not proportionately mirror gold and silver prices at all, sometimes they even move inversely! They're both punts that can be lucrative or painful depending a lot of the time on luck.
@Dark_Knight2020
Don't know how much BlackRock sold but their holding has now gone below 5% hence the declaration, they called it right.
slater do you know how much they sold ?
BlackRock sold
Has blaclrock increased ? I can never tell with these forms !!!
The closing UT at 115.30p last Friday is very encouraging, especially as it was well over the spread or offer price, but the most important price is the buyer ( though uncrossing trade ) was in charge with the price and the amount 2.5M shares

sotolo I think the opinion on PMs is mixed. But I agree the cult want to keep PMs low for now. I was speaking to some silver merchants and they said they can't get hold of silver or Gold. Apparently Gold on the physical market is very limited and soon as any comes available it sell imminently. The problem is the paper and physical is completely disconnected and if the paper market crimex goes too low they have too many people who buy up the paper contracts so they can’t have it too low either. With mass starvation at a global scale on the horizon I think I will make more money have flour and rise and pasta then PMs lol another mass outbreak followed by a mass global cyber outage of everything and then let the great reset and depopulation begin. Do you watch Andrew McGuire ?
Well Dark it isn’t doing gold any good, as predicted a couple of weeks ago it was about to have a dead cat bounce, well that has happened but also as predicted then the bounce likely to be shorlived, I wonder if it is over yet, scary interview on Kitco yesterday about how much small/mid gold miners like us share price will fall as profits are squeezed away by rapidly rising costs, esp from fuel as well as labour, unless gold rises a lot, and so far with rising rates it is sadly falling to where many will be losing money. Hoc was already an extremely high cost producer, and must be closing the gap with a falling gold price as costs soar further. So let’s just hope the market is wrong and gold at some point turns, and turns big!
well idiots like me before and during the lockdown shouted and shouted and shouted !!!! and said the world would be plunged into starvation by the cult cutting the food supply, killing the fertilizer industry and coercing the Russians into a war. We would we see high inflation energy and food pricing skyrocketing. I was called a what ? mad conspiracy theorist ! well here we are. Russian are one of the biggest fertilisers and energy producers and grain, I said before, if the cult want to stop the Russians, crash the oil, fertiliser and grain price just like the cult did to oil 2014, yet we have oil at 114$ lol and fertiliser sky high. So the Russians are getting all the benefits. The west is giving the Russians 1 billion USD per day ? sanctions lol what sanctions ! All designed to starve the world. I said another pandemic would breakout and a fourth lockdown, no way that would happen I was told and yet we have the monkey on the lose !!! People will only wake up when two things happen, food stops, money stops.
That Government has had more shuffles than all the packs of cards in Las Vegas....what a mess...
Peru president replaces mining minister as crisis escalates
Bloomberg News | May 23, 2022 | 1:42 pm Latin America Copper
Peru President Pedro Castillo replaced four ministers amid a mining and fertilizer crisis and after lawmakers presented motions to censure some members of the cabinet.
Alessandra Herrera was appointed mining minister after the government failed this week to reach a deal between MMG’s Las Bambas copper mine and indigenous communities. Congress was seeking to censure the previous minister, Carlos Palacios.
Javier Arce was named agriculture minister. He will be tasked with solving a fertilizer shortage that threatens to plunge the country into a hunger crisis. Dimitri Senmache becomes the new interior minister and Juan Barranzuela will serve as transport minister.
The appointments were the latest attempt by Castillo to reshuffle his government. The former rural school teacher who emerged from obscurity last year to unexpectedly win the presidency lacks experience in public office or a majority in congress and his administration has reeled from one crisis to the next.
He’s had four prime ministers since taking office in late July, and replaced numerous other top officials. The president himself survived a second impeachment attempt in congress in March.
After the swearing-in ceremony, the ruling Peru Libre party criticized the President for making the changes without consulting them.
“President, it is a serious mistake to leave aside the people who elected you,” Peru Libre lawmaker and former Prime Minister Guido Bellido said on his Twitter account. “The population will take it into account and keep it in mind.”
Castillo’s government is facing further turmoil as inflation reached 8% last month, the highest level since the late 1990s. The central bank has responded by increasing interest rates, after the surge in prices triggered mass disorder.
Good bounce today as the Gold and Silver was rising and MACD was bullish on the chart
