@Shardster you CLEARLY did not read what I had to say but just wanted a quick reply, fine to each their own, but i feel if you fail to read everything you disqualify yourself from being allowed to reply.
I would say that EVERYONE here is here for selfish reasons, I am not here to make my next door neighbour money, I am here to make money for myself and my family. That is a selfish reason. It just so happens that also benifits every other PI in Hemo as my goals and the goals of investors are aligned, if other investors were not also here for selfish reasons and out to destroy or harm the SP that would be bad. Unfortunaltly one of the worst human traits is also one of the best when it comes to the stock market, greed, greed for long term and short term performance.
Also if you have read anything i have said you would see i said VERY VERY clearly i view short term as a few months and LONG term as 1-2 years. Like how many times do I have to spell it out?
I need a short term gain to pay off a loan which I used to invest, IE 1-2 months I would like to see this atleast 100%+
After that the majority of my holding will be carried though until there is a change of ownership in the next year or two.
But SERIOUSLY Where on earth did you get this from??? CERTAINLY NEVER WORDS THAT HAVE CROSSED MY MOUTH:
"Just here for hemo, if you class the long run as as a couple of weeks you are clearly deluded"
Just here for hemo, if you class the long run as as a couple of weeks you are clearly deluded......that’s how a day trader thinks, and at least you’ve admitted you are very selfish which means that no one should really take any notice of what you say
Warren you are correct on both accounts, I am short term and long term.
Some of the money I have used to take a position is not lets say available for the long term so in the short term, next few months I will have to repay it, its zero interest loan which I would feel better clearing sooner rather than later. But that aside I have a sizeable stake of my own money in here too and has been since ~2p mark. I have no immediate need of that money nor any profits that may arise in the next month so I am more than happy to wait for the change of ownership event be it a buyout or take over or merger, whatever happens in the next year or so.
So YES I want short term gain to clear my debt and probably clear my costs so its a free ride, anything else will be left long term.
I accept you might be right about the collaboration being priced in however it really does depend on the details, I dont know for sure who it is nor do I know the details, it could be very very lucrative for us or it could be a very minor role. I suspect and hope its going to be very significant deal that brings us back to the 15-20p+ range as a base with a spike into the 25p+ for a short while but only time will tell. Ill be peeved if the RNS is a damp squib after all this waiting.
I would love to see exactly what the investors who subscribed to the placing were shown, surely that should be public knowledge?
Sorry I meant to finish off by saying Selfish point of view because in the end, be it 6 months, 1 year, 2 years I will want to sell Hemo, and I want it to be as healty a SP as possible then.
Yes? I post because its what I want, I post from a very selfish point of view, the fact is however that what I post is aimed to benifit the PI not the pump and dumpers or unicorn chasers and I make no apologies for that. Whiles you say it does not hurt any share in the long run thats clearly false. It has hurt Hemogenyx this past fortnight. Blatant pump and dumping caused a spike to 14p followed by a crash with sustained selling then more complete baseless deramping before finally stabilising for a while around the 9p mark. There is an excellent chance that Hemo wanted to do the placing much earlier but could do nothing while the SP was so volatile so they delayed business actions based on ramping and deramping. That delay could easily cause long term damage to the SP based on what impact it had internally. Also there was news released that would have increased SP WITHOUT the ramping, there was news in the end of year result that landed on the deramping afterwards which had next to no impact because the investors had already been burnt.
Please dont insult me or other investors by saying ramping and deramping does not hurt any share in the long run.
So it’s all about what you want then, ramping and deramping doesn’t hurt any share in the long run as it’s the companies performance that dictates that.......why would you want to put people off from buying here if you think this will be going up at some point, it’s their loss if they sell too early.
RE "You have just posted on SNG " or results are bad I'll probably take the hit,
sell and walk away..."
lol if you read the rest of what I posted you will see i said tiny amount, we are talking like a 300 quid trade as my account was pretty much tapped out but wanted to put something in for a bit of fun. If i lose like 50 quid and its worth like 250 and going nowhere i probably would sell at a loss lol but I dont really count that. I have a share where I am currently 2.5k down, it was 500 up before the crash in feb, if the FTSE takes another tumble it will probably go down a bit more, but fundamentally its a good company and will bounce back, still operating and suspended dividends this year.
I do like to be accurate so I will apologise for being a little inaccurate. So let me clarify:
TO DATE:
I have sold ZERO Shares at a loss
I held Microfocus through a loss but they bounced back and I made a profit
I held Diagio when they crashed at the start, they bounced back and I made a tiny profit but wanted the cash for Hemo
I hold other shares where there is a paper loss of approx 3k total
I bought shares in Northern Lynx and it cost me like £6k, it was a boiler house scam and the shares got delisted so never got a chance to sell, they are gone, but I never sold.
Hemo - I am currently ~20k in profit but no intention of selling any time soon.
Regarding ramping. The one thing I have found is that ramping hurts share prices in the long run and only benifits the rampers. What I TRY to do is counter de-rampers who appear to be trying to force the price down to buy in and also TRY and calm down some of the impulse buying when rampers are around so people dont get burnt. I didnt get burnt here in Hemo as I was already in but I do know people who did get burnt. IT would have been much better for all if there had been slower organic growth and not a big spike and dump like we saw. It was not helped by the Craig and Bower sell off but certainly there was pump and dump at play also. As for putting people off, SOMETIMES that is my intention. I dont want people thinking hemo is the next unicorn, People MIGHT HAVE TO WAIT a few days or weeks for news, personally I want longer term investors that are here for the long ride to invest and maintain a good stable HIGH SP going forward not fickle day investors who yes may force the price up one day but could do the exact same in reverse the very next day.
