Dear Latte
Very funny, made laugh so much;
the very thought of ramping up helium
demand by way of cooling data centres;
that needs a devious mind:) lol
Part 1 / 25 episodes on this topic alone:)
Chilling out today, limited supply:) Haha

@AP, I believe they would have needed the right equipment to cut the casing , I do wonder if they had it on site at the time.. I also think they would need another rig to go back later and cut the casing..
I don't recall anything being said about casing the last section down to TD..
Even though the hole was found to be washed out I guess they would have needed to remove the drilling fluid/mud to clean the hole before sending the DST down to attempt logging the hole..
If the hole is dry I would think its very possible that any drilling mud stuck to the unstable walls would dry out, shrink, and crack opening up pores in the wall..
If the hole was wet I wonder if the mud would kind of dissolve(thin, dilute), again opening up the pores..
Sure He1 had bridge plugs to allow re-entry if a discovery was made...
I have not noticed any details of how that well was left, sealed for good, or as a 1200m gas vent with a screw top...
Read an RNS where a company was waiting for cleaning fluid to remove the stuff caked to the walls, in the mean time the gas started to flow,...

@ inthevoid
I must say your in good form today but I must stress that if your going to post as often as this, then there is a good chance that the LSE data bank is going to overheat very soon and need more Helium for cooling purposes.
Maybe there's a method in your madness.
lol.

Reposted: an excellent article, so easy to
miss, with so many posting, including me:)

@DD
I have it daily, the Guardian, that is:)Haha
Though now, in tabloid form, still highly regarded
as a broadsheet, others will surely follow their lead:)
@AP
Excellent link, thank you.
Is it called the ‘TERMINATOR’ certainly
up to the task, ‘you get what you paid for’
comes to mind. ‘PPP’
Power & Professional Precision drilling:)
100% ?! ... love the optimism ... I'm all in now as IMHO the price will only go up when they start drilling ... the question then will be do we all hold our nerve as it will be sh it or bust
Over on telegram there is some talk about our rig being an Atlas Copco Predator ( 950hp)
Take a look here

Helium one have been quietly confident this year telling shareholders the company is undervalued and reiterating that they have enough money for current exploration activities even during leriods of lack of news and doubt from us shareholders.
The wired.com article and DM's proactive interviews state that in the lakebeds we got 2.2% helium show @ 70m and also multiple further helium shows down to Karoo - in essence a discovery was made but couldnt be officially announced
From Quemscan we know we have good to excellent resevoir & seals. Now with the mineral rig, the annulus was narrow and hence mud pressure was very high which ultimately caused washouts. Its been mebtiobed that this pressure likely also masked helium shows, forcing the gas back into the soft resevoirs rather than exiting in returning mud.
They have done even more seismic and ERT at Tai now and have employed new geoscientists to pick apart the data. They have had 9 months in which to go back & cut the lakebed casing at tai -1 and flow gas.
In my opinion id say we have a near 100% COS at Tai with a conventional rig.
The Karoo and red sandstone will still be a mystery and where the real money lies but a shallow discovery is almost certain. This time round I think they will drill and wireline the shallow lakebed and release a discovery RNS followed by a placing - then push on to the depths - if they have any sense
Last year when Helium one came to market the markets were in bull territory even though we were still in a pandemic at the time.
Now with pandemic almost out of arms reach the aftermath from this pandemic is now upon us putting massive pressure on companies trying to get back to normal, and of course we mustn't forget what's happening in Ukraine which is
having a knock on effect to investing and markets.
It's not just He1 finding it difficult to find new investors at the moment and as skittish said this could be a brilliant buying opportunity especially if we get the discovery compared to where we currently sit.
Over the next few weeks even though He1 PR machine are now doing their rounds after a quite few months of no news this is not enough.
The only way this current cycle will positivity change and hopefully within the next two or three weeks is when we announce the rig contract and who knows, maybe a large shareholder coming on board.
It all comes down to, do you believe in what DM is saying, personally I do, he is very passionate in what he is doing, some people call it hype, there is a fine deciding line between hype and passion when your a CEO, I have full trust in the announcements since the AGM back in March, ok he did drop a clanger by saying we will hear by the end of Q1 who what and where, but this is business and these things can happen.
I believe that Helium one can pull this one off and as said before we just need to be patient and then hopefully we will then be rewarded.
Onwards and upwards.
@Skittish, DM said adjacent, not North... but he says multiple for two, even when he really thinks 1 is most likely....
Just hope that one of the long lead items is not a set of pistons rings for an engine losing compression under load ;)
Just been looking through your photo stream, about the time DM posted the Helium clouds, letting us decide if they highlighted seepage or leaks..
Or was it a hint they missed the sweet spot???
SW is that mystery rectangle and helium clouds..
"Helium One He1 Rukwa 2D seismic dots 16-2-2022", you got 116 views for this map... so lots reading this BB

Anyway AP's hunch its worth thinking about, especially since we are going back,
Did they cap Tai-1 so allowing access later?
Would be worth hearing APs reasoning behind her hunch, especially if it involved waiting ......
Depp your toe in why don't you
Following the Heard. Down to Greece.
It wouldn't be the same thread without Mussels winding everyone up - but you have to acknowledge that after the last 12 months activities it is difficult to attract new investors to the share.
After the fundraise it was Go Go Go! The shares responded accordingly in a rising market. Today it is somewhat different and people are less sanguine.
If you believe the evidence, such as it is, therein lies a significant potential opportunity.
But just to respond to a few points - Josh, it could be two wells, that was my thinking up to this week, but the limited cash and very late drill (end September at the earliest) suggests time also will be limited prior to the rains. Whilst I'm sure you can drill to 1200M and test in 3 weeks, for Tai-1/1A it took a week to get to 55M, a month to get to 550M and two months to get to 1120M. They'll have better, more suitable equipment this time but I think they'll take it real slow, as if they foul up at Tai-3 it is effectively game over for most existing investors.
But we shall see.
And DD and Latorre there was a different much more confident mood music last time, a discovery alters everything and opens up a world of opportunity via placings, at many multiples of today, JV's, offtakes etc etc. The entire picture alters with a proven helium reservoir flowing gas to the surface. One of the articles posted stated that the final sale from the US Helium Reserve takes place this September, so a October/November discovery could go down quite well.
Dai, I'm not sure where the newly discovered sweet spot is, I'd assume it was somewhere north of Tai-1, but I'm guessing. The extent of Tai is shown outlined in blue here
https://www.flickr.com/photos/194934344@N06/52090459668/in/dateposted-public/
bounded on 3 sides by faults, with the N/S fault running further up into other areas of interest and surface helium anomalies.
As for a producer, I think we should take DM at his word - "a razor sharp focus on a discovery". That is it, nothing else, no bells, whistles or anything else.
Discovery. Period.
But Tai could be quite a significant find, and potentially extensive, and whilst news at present doesn't appear to shift the share price at all, this presents an opportunity if you are prepared to accumulate prior to the drill bit hitting the ground in something like 4 months time.
But it is up to each investor to pay their money and take their choice, if they so wish.
@ Muscles 12
Congratulations again.
Your 4 years old this month, well that is on LSE, joining 23rd May 2018.
Lets hurry up and get that discovery in 2022 and then you will have to find a new name for your secret hero DM.
You can then put a picture of DM on your bedroom wall along side your other super hero, superman.

@Muscles, not as much as them testing for the pinch out at 25 paces, there was no need to announce Tai-2 and create FOMO...
Muscles, you will always be here, in or out, your part of the furniture now..
Makes me think your trading, long and short....
At least your opinion is always the same, no obfuscation, so could never be a CEO of an exploration company..
Definitely not DM's penfold
@Muscles.
Congratulations.
That is probably the best thing you've actual said about Helium one in all of your previous 2882 posts.
