I think those lines a seismic too, you can match some to the infill lines in the presentations..
There are techniques where they take data and create a model representation of the underground mapping using a range of information/data, but dont ask me much about it, they have 3 logs from 3 wells now, all the seismic, lots..
They also have seen something in the Momba area, but I cant find it, well I can but its a county, there is Mamba close to Tai but wrong direction being south, not north so will have to wait and see...could be a typo..
They have also been doing a high resolution 2D line crossing Tai and Itumbula to define shallow targets
They had funding for 3D seismic which was planned for after discovery, other than cost I wonder why not now, they seem focused on Tai
What are the intersecting lines? I see they cross at the Tai drill pad so I assume they are 2d seismic lines.
The seismic intersect at Tai drill site showed multiple stacked horizons - hence why it was chosen. The problem it seems with the 2d seismic is that it can resolve the complexities of the structural shapes underground and relies only on where the lines intersect.
Looking at this MSS image they released the 2d seismic lines enclose these massive seep anomalies, skirting all the way around. Perhaps the "horsed" structural highs all peak where the seeps are highest labelled in red. Are they teasing us here - they have gone to the trouble of overlaying google maps, the 2d seismic results for this area will likely be in their hands now too.
My guess is they missed the absolute sweet spot with Tai -1 and the black square is our next drill site. How ironic if the stratigraphy of the closures is just that bit nearer to surface and we could have gone after it with the mitchell drill armed with the new data they have.
Either way ive doubled my holding and we will have a bigger rig so hopefully the wait will be rewarded
@Daven66,,
Post from KeithOZ should answer your questions....
TAI coordinates23 Jan 2022 03:00
I can confirm that the actual location for TAI-1 is -8.369005, 32.329898, which is slightly different from the coordinates previously released. The rectangular drill pad and track leading to it can be clearly seen on Google Earth.
Combining the MSS photo
https://twitter.com/Heliumone1/status/1483062622048206852/photo/1
on Twitter with GE, the location of the highest part of the MSS seep nearest to TAI-1 is at -8.371652 32.325005 , just to the West of a small wood, and about 700m to the SW of the original TAI drill pad. There is an additional separate area of He seepage a few hundred metres further to the SW. Of course a seep may represent leakage, rather than the presence of a trap with a good seal, that will be confirmed by the new high-resolution seismic. I am pretty sure we will be seeing a TAI-3 within a km of TAI-1 & 2
Are the Coordinates -8.368426231622825, 32.32992925587493 from the square in the MSS the original ta1 drilling location. Am i right in thinking the second Coordinates look right at the sweet spot nearby -8.37127357952865, 32.324993516765
I`m not sure how to read this mss correctly. Does anybody know if the darker areas are showing more gas concentrations or that the gas is actually nearer to surface. Thankyou to the original poster who posted these coordinates a while back , sorry i can`t find that post anymore.
Even if it is that the plume lies on a leaky seal, the amount of helium we are seeing at Tai would definately indicate a resevoir in the deep Karoo full to the brim and spilling
I would love to see the seismic work over that huge plume around 400m away from our drill site.
I wonder if that is the true epicentre of the helium migration and leaking most there.. not because the seals are any less effective, but because charge focus is towards that spot ?
Exciting times ahead though and cant wait for what they release next
@skittish
As with AP, can't wait to hear your take on your findings regarding the MSS survey image, it is unusual to have the GE image in the background, obviously they (he1) didn't mind sharing.
I to have looked at that image so many times, am I missing something obvious?.
Onwards and upwards.
Do elaborate when you have time skittish... Ive been over the image and google earth myself a few times.. love to hear your thoughts
I think the picture they tweeted with the results of the MSS survey is gold dust.
No time to amplify now but probably will over the weekend.
If you interpret it in a particular way, with a little help from Google Earth and the various He1 presentations, then it is all there.
They could have chosen to publish the picture without overlaying it onto GE, but they didn't.
I think that picture alone is sufficient to explain the renewed interest in the shares...
