"This is a significant moment in the Company's history. Water technologies are extremely complicated to develop and have a notoriously long development cycle. In conjunction with our partner Chematek, our innovation team has once again delivered one-of-kind technology that meets the highest of regulatory standards. We look forward to the market response to solving the heavy-metal problem for consumers, and view this as an inflection point for our company and a key value driver for all stakeholders."
"Key value driver for shareholders". This could be the start to the climb back to previous highs with expectations to generate significant revenues in a huge market.
and how much cash do they have??
looks like a big step ahead for HALO
HaloSource, Inc. ("HaloSource" or the "Company") Successful Commercial Production of Lead Reduction Media HaloSource, Inc. ("HaloSource" or "the Company") (HAL.LN, HALO.LN) the clean water technology company traded on London's AIM, today announces the successful completion of the first commercial production of its new heavy metal reduction media, HaloPure Adsorption Composite ("HPAC") in conjunction with its supply partner, Chematek S.p.A. As previously announced on 13 February 2017, this novel filtration media is expected to be the class-leading lead reduction media for gravity-cartridge and low pressure applications, capable of meeting rigorous National Sanitation Foundation/ANSI 53 ("NSF/ANSI 53") certification in devices such as pitchers and bottles. This innovation represents the Company's second major technology under the HaloPure brand, joining its disinfection technology the world's leading brominated bead media for cartridge-based bacteria and virus disinfection. Bottles and pitchers using the new lead reduction media will now be available for sale alongside our existing products utilising our disinfection technology. The Company expects to initially use the new HPAC media in a bottle under its own brand, astrea, to be launched in the United States via crowdfunding and e-commerce platforms in H1 2018. This launch is expected to generate the Company's first significant revenues from the sale of drinking water technology in the world's largest consumer market for drinking water hydration devices. We expect to also power our hydration devices in China with this media in conjunction with our e-commerce partnership with Shanghai JiuBan Industrial Co. Ltd. announced on 21 June 2017. James Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of HaloSource, commented: "This is a significant moment in the Company's history.
Not sure on the 2 boards. I think the market has missed something here though. Just need some volume and this will get moving. IMO
why 2 boards? HAL and HALO?
This seems very positive to me.
Lot of information on Halo website. Now I feel confident this share will be a winner in 2018. Now is the time to buy before it rockets. Do your own research & good luck to all.
it expects a "material negative" impact to 2017 revenue as a result of a manufacturing shutdown at ones of its suppliers. The clean water technology firm explained that the Chinese government had issued a temporary shutdown order to manufacturing facilities in the region where a HaloSource supplier of glass pitchers is located. This was, HaloSource added, "for region-wide, rather than supplier-specific, pollution mitigation reasons." As a consequence, of the unexpected delay in delivery of glass pitchers, HaloSource is temporarily prevented from shipping to one of its customers, JiuBan, before the end of 2017. This will have a "material negative impact" on its revenue for 2017. The AIM-listed firm now expects revenue to be between USD2.6 and USD3.0 million. It also anticipates making a net loss of between USD5.0 million and USD5.5 million. In 2016, HaloSource reported a net loss of USD10.7 million on revenue of USD2.1 million.

HALOSOURCE LAUNCHES DRINKING WATER PURIFICATION PRODUCTS IN INDIA UNDER THE astrea BRAND SEATTLE - HaloSource, Inc. (HAL.LN, HALO.LN), the global clean water technology Company traded on London's AIM, today announces the launch of astrea, the Company's first consumer-facing brand, to the India market. astrea, a reference to the Greek goddess of purity, will feature a line of compact purifying solutions that utilize best-in-class technologies to provide consumers with clean, safe drinking water. Indian consumers can currently purchase astrea water purification pitchers via online retailers Amazon India, Flipkart and on astreawater.in, the Company's own e-commerce storefront in India. A purifying water bottle is expected to be available in October. The Directors of the Company believe that both the pitchers and bottles offer unmatched protection against unsafe drinking water with patented technology that meets U.S. regulatory standards for drinking water safety. The astrea launch marks a significant milestone in the Company's strategy to build on its foundation as a trusted OEM supplier by bringing its own global, consumer-facing brand to market. India was a natural first target based on its urgent need for clean, safe drinking water, the size of the market, and the Company's strong familiarity with the region. HaloSource has been selling its patented HaloPure disinfection technology to consumer product companies such as Eureka Forbes in India since 2007. The Directors of the Company believe that, compared to other personal drinking water products available in India, astrea pitchers and bottles represent a marked step forward in design, quality and technological innovation. A convenient and compact solution, the astrea purifying pitcher can be used as a standalone solution to ensure that drinking water is germ-free - at home, at school and student dorms, when traveling, or anywhere portability is required. The pitcher features disposable cartridges that offer three-stage purification, using HaloSource's patented HaloPure water purification technology to kill more than 99.9 percent of viruses and bacteria, including E. coli and norovirus. HaloPure technology is registered by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and certified to NSF42 for safety of materials. Each cartridge provides up to 100 days - or 375 liters - of clean, clear, safe drinking water and the pitcher is equipped with an easy-to-use LED indicator that tracks and alerts users when it's time for a replacement.
