03-Sep-21 Liberum Capital Buy Price 287.00p New Target Price 340.00p
Sorry, but I've got to ask, why the hell is this priced so high?
Forecast to make a loss of nearly £30m this year before returning to a profit of £7.6m in 2022.
Gross debt of a staggering £372m giving GYM has an enterprise value of £860m vs the market cap of £488m.
And now yesterday a bod selling £1.4m worth of shares.
LIBERUM RAISES GYM GROUP PRICE TARGET TO 325 (295) PENCE - 'BUY'
Its not often that you can say that you had a great day at the GYM and gained a few Ibs
possibly because its trading at a higher price than before Boris won the election and after dilution. Incredible!
Why?
Obviously covid levels high in people aged 20’s 30’s understandable no gyms but very disappointing

Invested for the long term
In at 286p pre-pandemic
God help me
Going to take profits . Good luck of your staying .
Not that I'm complaining but I can't see a reason for the SP increase this month
On January 29th this was 211p. We've now broken in the 250's
All gyms are shut, membership is down as a consequence, weeks of lock down still to go. And yet we've moved up almost 20%
No rumours drifting around from what i can see. No one ramping on twitter.
Happy to hear peoples speculation on this :-)
No idea
I was hoping someone on here might have an idea
Can’t be do to with the investor chronicle recommendation surely?
Anyone know the reason for the 8% rise this afternoon?
What I wouldn’t want is for the stock to make a sharp move upwards and break through the 240p level quickly. This can provide great opportunities, but with many market participants so quickly in profit the pullbacks can be larger.

I hope this isn’t true! I must admit my friends and I have spent £300+ on fancy adjustable professional weights and my best mate got a ‘P’ bike so I’m less likely to rush back to the gym. Slightly worrying. Hopefully not the case.

I bought in here yesterday as a good recovery play.
Today's trading update was excellent with them still retaining a large amount of members and financially restructuring the company.
The vaccine news gave GYM a good run to 190 with a very strong close. GYM should open 200+ tomorrow.
The vaccine will allow all business to go back to normal and i can easily see GYM going back to 300p very soon
What a great day! I see this making good gains in the medium term.
Use their facilities on almost daily basis. Have to say the 2 diff sites in London and 1 outside are usually packed with members. Not sure about afternoon sessions but morning and evening easily 40-50+ people. Disinfectant/cleaning stations and social distancing rules in place. Unless BoJo locks the whole thing down, I assume their revenue has bn upto or on par pre-covid. No reason to think otherwise unless, of course, others have noticed something else.
At last, some good news about the gym group’s expansions. The SP needed some news to help stimulate some interest and get it moving up in the right direction.
In at 122 Tom??? Jammy get.
At least the the 2 amazing advisers have been given the push, but it seems a few of the bad decisions have come straight from Downing Street ???? Not good.
I still think this is a fantastic investment. A very well run gym. All depends on Matt ******* and Walter Mitty and whether they destroy the gyms along with the other millions of businesses they are destroying.
In at 122p yesterday. On support line and rsi showing oversold caught my attention. Aswell as gym goers will still go especially in times like these perfect excuse to get out. I believe in a gradual change in society where people want to be healthier. Members are mostly young and the younger lot are concerned about their image more by way of instagram etc.
Are there any investors in Gym Group out there?
Am I the only one?
Is there anybody there???? Or are you at the gym?
If you are at the gym (hopefully a gym group one) then great.
Good luck to all investors.
