One of the biggest gold fields in the world
What i heard walker lane gold field is the 3rds largest in the world
Kinross Gold is also on Walker Lane gold belt. Their Round Mountain deposit got 29 Million ounces.
Kinross produced 437,000 Gold ounces in 2017.
Walker Lane gold belt been underexplored so far yet has Super High gold grades recorded up to 340 g/t
Got to be the most value mining play right now considering how close to at least "some" production. Been here sine 009. Topped up a few times. It is massively de risked by the copper too. GLA
@San, current 'production' is from historic spoil heaps so small scale from existing GWMO small-scale plant, but at least it is revenue.
GWMO confirmed road upgrades now make half of spoil heaps accessible and grab samples have been taken. Hopefully next update will confirm grades, recovery rates and spoil heap tonnages. At least someone else did the mining for us and thoughtfully piled it up ready to take away!
Market will take notice sooner or later when this starts motoring. Best to accumulate while under the radar.
Agreed sentiment. I wouldnt be touching them, but hope it works out as i would prefer money to be made by investors and not MMS or lifestyle AIM CEO's
San
but if results aren't in for clogeau, they are in the same position as GWMO, speculative position. Im arguing more that our SP shouldn't be far off theirs. In fact, based on last upadate, GWMO will be aiming to produce this year. Does that mean we should have a higher SP than ALBA as we are generating income?

Just enjoy it while it lasts without the 'Can't be out over the weekend', 'Boom mortgage paid', 'guess the SP at Xmas', the 'choo choo train is leaving' and of course my favourite 'I'm a pension advisor can I help?' crew.
Give it a few weeks ... just saying!
I think the difference is sentiment and that the PI crowd have discovered ALBA but not (yet) GWMO despite getting a mention by Zak Mir once or twice. Decent tangible news flow here will change that for once and for all.
Me too :-)
I'm in both GWMO and ALBA, more heavily so with the former. Both are highly speculative and exciting stocks with huge potential upside. IMHO
GWMO could easily follow if reults are good.
A more diverified protfolio of assets. Results due soon from bulk sampling from Cloguau, trenching work to start soon. Possibly a massive gold resource to be discovered. ITV news coverage in the pipeline and over 2m in the bank.. There's more.
thats easy Sanboy, I bought GWMO - sorry all :-)
So can somebody explain to me how ALBA MCAP is 6X higher than GWMO? Im lost

Gold price is taking a breather after this years rise and will move sideways while the Dollar strengthens. Gold and especially Silver producers have taken a big hit recently, but I think Q3 results with high 'sold-at' prices will steady the PM producers.
If the dollar strengthens some more as investors move into cash (Dollar) then IMHO expect gold to pull back some more maybe shedding as much as another $100/Oz. I am not expecting the dollar bounce to continue or investors to stay in cash for too long .... I think this is a gold pullback only and will continue on its bull run for a few years yet.
GMWO is an Explorer so the only thing I am interested in is finding something worthwhile sooner rather than later and let the gold/silver price do its thing. I am planning on near-term modest production at GWMO from spoil heaps and early near-surface deposits thrown up by the sampling and geo-phys ... anything bigger will come in its own sweet time.
Looking forward to the next grab results. not long now
This could explode to 1p fast when wider market realises how undervalued this is with about 1/3 of MCAP in cash.
We have to look at it at todays gold prices 1855 as at this time the co will only be priced on the known.
But we are in 2020 not 2024
Gold and silver's impressive rally this summer is just the start of the precious metal bull market, according to one Canadian Bank.
In a report published Tuesday, commodity analysts at CIBC upgraded their gold and silver forecasts for the rest of the year into 2021. The analysts said that they see gold prices averaging the third quarter around $1,925 an ounce. The average goes up to $2,000 for the fourth quarter, the analysts said.
Looking ahead, CIBC sees gold prices averaging $2,300 an ounce in 2021, $2,200 an ounce in 2022, $2,100 in 2023 and $2,000 an ounce in 2024.

"Our eight distinct concession areas have the potential for gold and silver in the short term and substantial copper development in the longer term..."
...All licences lie within the Walker Lane Trend which contains large mineral deposits.
This can be potentially a multibag company... Mcap is a joke tbh.
Remember folks estimate gold price in 2024 approximately 3500 per ounce.
Do the maths
Gla
everything is falling in the place .just need share price upwards trend
Yes they already intersected the historic OMCO vein but never got explored further in the past.
Walker Lane fault is the richest Gold trend in Nevada where even Barrick and Newmont did not enter as they were busy with their huge mines in Carlin and Cortez gold belts to the north.
Walker Lane is becoming the HOT SPOT with Kinross nearby already at their Round Mountain gold mine. Just in 2017 Kinross produce 437,000 ounces. Total resource at 29 Million ounces at Round Mountain.
These numbers are truly mind boggling.
