Seaking1. Please update this board when you reinvest. I will then assess and invest when the price is less than you paid. Thanks.
I reinvest in gsk with my divs as I don’t need the cash at the moment. Notice the recent news about a trial has been put back 6 months , not to sure why , but expect any negative news might send the sp down a bit, I hope . If it goes to about <1400 I will add. :-). Good luck with your dealings people.
Hi olda, yes I am diversified. Have a few funds that are not down to much. In regard to the sp being ex div as pokerchips , pointed out. I might be tempted to add a few more.
Ex-Div today so that is 13.75p of it ...and some take the Div and sell
...greeted with a falling SP. Beginning to believe both this and Haleon will be ogled as bid stocks!
Hello Seaking1, I do hope you are right but what a smelly market in general right now.
I know there isn't much to propel it upwards but, honestly, my seat belt is well and truly fastened. I suspect that even if these strikes were sorted there may only be a small spike.
I am sure that, like me, you have a reasonably diversified PF. Off to the boozer tonight to try and stop it closing!
I am now very confident about the future of GSK after the last few RNSs the vaccine and medication approvals that have been approved over the last few months should generate a good bit of cash to the financials. :-).
Yes , but also the last rns in regard to vaccine is pushing the sp up I think.
so..is the chase for the next dividend now on ?
You will only get one side of the story from most media outlets these days.
The BBC are a classic example.
It want the judges say that counts. And that should be science led hopefully.
This is another vaccine that will make a lot of money for GSK . :-).
Has anyone else read this? View please?
Sorry guys but I chickened out.
Zantac hatchet job in Bloomberg is not pretty reading at all. I don't think this is over by a long stretch and I wasn't comfortable holding while the threat of litigation hasn't gone away.
All IMHO DYOR
Happy
Yet more excellent phase 111 trial results.
share price dropping looking like a chase down to secure the lowest buy in for the forthcoming 13.75p Dividend - with ex-div being 23 Feb 2023
Don't understand your sentence?
This morning GSK so dropped to us level
US ADR = 2 UK shares. So only a small difference may be due to 0.5% tax and exchange volatility
1 U.K. share = £14.80
2 ADR = £27.20
Normally not much difference but you are right that it’s around £2 difference!!!!!
Tweedy Brown bought in at $35.14.
With these low multiples, that makes sense as a Value Investor.
£14.73 on LSE
£26.69 on NYSE (ADR)*
* in USD at exchange rate $35.89

That is quite a wide discrepancy.
It's Friday.
Balancing of accounts & profit taking.
Weekend is approaching.
Well, that's got my head scratching.
GSK trading in America will probably be the one to buy into as it's approved in America.
