Brilliant company that does brilliant things + they invented the concepts that A1 aids -problem is farmers know how to take a profit and this they are doing
have invested many times here pre covid... good money earner
see futures of live cattle and live hogs,, all up,, live cattle have stayed for 1 year now (i notice grain frices are going lower so feed prices are coming down - generally)
one problem is they guarantee female cattle,, but live cattle prices are exceptionally high and so having a male cattle for slaughter is profitable at a time when farm chemicals are 400% higher
I see this as a company to buy in and out 3 or 4 times a year
Decent revenue growth given conditions, headline numbers caused drop but fundamentals remain strong ;)
Went in too soon!
I buckled today and bought in at 2450. Hoping the Chinese start to loosen up on lockdown and start treating themselves to lots of lovely porky goodness.
No idea why this has been pummelled for the last 5 months, but I’ll buy some at 25 quid.
I used to follow this stock but haven’t looked for a while and was surprised to see it at this level. I’m tempted to get in here. Can anyone sum up the reasons for the massive slump?
China pledging to support market this morning- perhaps significant? Anyway, I’ve just added a few here - they’re more than 50% off highs.
Still watching. Following the brief drop below 3000, this appears to have stabilised around 3100 -3200, despite the traumatic news from Ukraine. Glimmer of light perhaps?
Dear Mr. Kerching
Bluenalu a lab grown fish company has just signed a deal with the largest sushi restaurant chain in Japan .........This will arrive quicker than you might think...........Agronomics...look them up
You can invest as much as you like, selling lab grown pork chops, chicken nuggets and steak will take a bit of doing. Think I'll have to go veggie ??
China has just announced that it intends to invest in lab-grown meat. If in a few years this proves to be viable then Genus are dust in the wind.
Something afoot here, nigh on 25% drop in a month and no news!
Sell off continues - 52 week low today, sub 4,000…
Thanks Jim, i'll hold off for a bit and average down when the dust settles. GLA
Recommended a buy in IC only last week - at over 5000! Obviously the kiss of death! Fall could be linked to jitters within Chinese economy at the mo, and it seeming to be classified as a tech stock. Techs are under the cosh at the moment with US interest rates forecast to rise. I’m watching to see if the sell off stabilises before topping up. Great medium to long term opportunities here.
Hi all, don't post very often and bought in quite recently when directors purchased. Been on a daily decline of late and i can't find any news as to why. Any LTH's have advice, or is this pattern this the normal with this share? Thanks in advance.
I couldn’t resist picking a few up at this price
Oh dear… is the fall in share price a buying opportunity at this level (strong fundamentals but short term bumps in the road perhaps), or will it go sub £50????
Hello Mr Maz.
I bought some more of these when it dropped below £50 share the other day and it’s very tempting to sell some or all of my holding. Over the years this share has always grown and never let us down so I am going to hold for now. Results are due next month I think so that might influence any decision that needs to be taken. I see no reason why genus cannot carry on growing and perhaps a takeover bid could occur at any time. Good luck
Doing rather well are you going to sell them?
Been watching agronomics for quite a while and think this could be a worthwhile investment. Not bought in yet but plan to in the near future.
Mr Cheese
Thank you for putting my mind at ease.............Could i suggest a few shares in Agronomics for the Grandchildren.....the future is just beginging to brew
Don’t panic mr maz. This drop has nothing to do with cultured meat. Markets globally are panicking because of possible effects of inflation. Gns is a solid company and always bounces back. I find the best thing is to buy more on these drops and just wait until the inevitable rise. Good luck.
No not 30 yrs seems to having an effect right now
in 30 years, yes
