Lets hope for over 110 on closing
Strengthening all the time - patience is all that is required although an MBO or bid would be great.
Slow and steady rise, lets hope this continues and 2024 will see return in value.

Cash cow, ripe for a bid.
So many UK companies look vulnerable.

Starting to look like momentum.
Good week end levels, lets hope Onward and Upward.
Completely agree . The company has enormous potential , but the shhare price is going nowhere untill the dividend is reinstated, and as a result the company will continue to be a potential takeover target.
Scoping around for somewhere to put my SPT windfall, landed on this one. Seems to have steered its way through Covid reasonably, given the nature of the business, that can’t have been easy. I’m not a fan of buybacks over dividends, so that was a negative, but I’m slightly hopeful they may be on the verge of changing tack on that. An announcement of any dividend, even a small one, is certain to boost the SP from here. I also think it’s undervalued, and as others have said, has to be a takeover target at these levels. The fact that they got a placing away during Covid at a price higher than today’s speaks volumes. All just my opinions, and who can tell. I’m hopeful.

If the dividend is reinstate, say 2p interim plus 5p final and at a consrrvative uield of 4% yhe shatr prie will be £1.50. However, if the buyback continues the share price will continue to drift. Yield equals demand, no yield and a potential capital loss equals little demand. The only positive with regard to the current abysmal share prive id that the company is an obvious takeover targrt for any funf looking for a cash cow it can milk for regular dividends (adjusted profit of up to £80 millionprojected for this year and likely higher in future), as a result my stake in Greencore is currently a takeover arbitrage position.
So you don't believe the sp will be higher than 108p in 12 months time from today. Which leads on to suggest you don't believe the dividend will be reinstated in the same time frame.
Hmmmm, okay.
Apologies re. typo, should have read "bonds" not "bons"
Greencore's share price is going nowhere untill the dividend is reinstated. Lack of demand for Greencore as an investment at the moment because the shares do not provide a return and have not done so for years. Who in their right mind is going to invest for no return wnen they can get up to 5% guaranteed elsewhere from safe government bons and no chance of a capital loss which is all that Greencore has provided since 2019.
Maybe premature but seems to holding its own.
Indeed, however the price will be supported at these levels as the earnings grow. All set to add.
Lets see how the SP re act now that buy back is close3d
Telling you there are sign that a bid is already being condered, the way and they are all upping their holdings. Too many directors jumping in - will be a bit like DVO and come out of nowhere.
Looking for around 180/200 take out here by the Summer.

Yep...liking this.
Another 50K purchase @ 104.5p by a director. That's 2 now in virtually a week. Shareholder confidence growing. Buyback very nearly done. I expect an announcement end of March regarding next plan for returning value to shareholders. More bb or divi.
What gives you this idea, any facts
Bid alert ⚠️ 📢 when it comes, don't act surprised.

Price action here is very encouraging from the 60s, stuck around 70/80 spiked to 93 fell back consolidated, spiked to 105 and pulled back 10% now back to high and about to break through. 130p short term on results.
That's a good chunk for a non exec director.
130p incoming.
Thanks for responding. I koww from the RNS how many shares are in issue. More interested in finding out how many shareholders there still are. I suspect up to 30% less than before the buyback started, and that most of those who left did so at a loss, which will have negative impact on the share price. Once bitten, twice shy.
