Deal lol!
I would also love to attend; if it’s in Abu Dhabi be sure that I will!
As you have said, they are ‘fit for purpose’ so to speak; same industry with a local presence.
GFD many thanks for the continuing education lol! I am indeed a share holder of long standing but also have a keen insight into the working realities of the company. I am in this niche industry (SESVs) and am also based in Abu Dhabi so I know this Company and people whom work there well. As you have said, a QUALITY outfit with, without doubt the best fleet on the market. Fully agree that the SEAFOX fleet is no comparison but competitors they still are.
GFD, sorry but I have no idea what LTH refers to. For clarity, I believe the current CFO resigned before the drop in share price and as a result of his long held intention to do so.
I think we'll have a bit of a rally going into the close today. I can feel it in my water Walter.
lol
GFD the current lack of a replacement CFO is highly likely to do with the muddying of the waters caused by Seafox; walking into this type of situation is not the type of situation many would seek!
looking good i think a few more buys today and we finish on 20.50 then this time next week i can see the magic 25pps
Interesting. Being a relatively small Company a board of 10 seems excessive. One of GMS’s advantages is that it is able to make and execute strategy quickly; large leadership groups negate this advantage IMHO.
Just found this:
ANNOUNCEMENT RE S303 REQUISITION
Seafox International Limited ("Seafox")
31 January 2019
Gulf Marine Services plc ("GMS")
Seafox notes GMS's announcement today and its reference to the disproportionate number of Seafox proposed directors as compared to the total size of the GMS board. As a result of this together with feedback from other major shareholders, Seafox has written to GMS requesting that the convened general meeting consider the appointment of further directors if proposed or requested by any other shareholders and that GMS seek recommendations for any such appointments from its shareholders.
Seafox would be supportive of a Board of 10 members comprising up to 5 new directors to be appointed at the General Meeting (including the three new directors suggested in our announcement dated 30 January 2019)."
Apologies if already posted.
Do we know that Seafox’s intentions are pure?! The fact that they seemingly met with GMS and then immediately after released an RNS communicating their intention to replace the Chairman and add 2 NED’s would seem to suggest otherwise as GMS’s subsequent RNS suggests they had been blind-sided by the announcement. What else have they announced that makes you think their intentions are pure because to me their behavior indicates the opposite.
Excellent indeed, let's hope its not a quick jump up and down, like the last time it hit the 20s, and the start of a longer term uptrend.
20p.
the brakes are off, that must mean Seafox have their 25% n'est pas?
Could spike if the offer gets taken out quickly. Year high was 52.20 so still a long way to go
Lol
So maybe it was Gaz De France who made the big buy today? lol
Is that Gas de France
and GDF is in profit on his mornings modest little soiree.
Tightest spread for a long time.
Pretty strong buying again.
Lol. It's fictitious, but if it were real, it would describe, in great detail, every possible mistake a PI can make, from first hand experience :)
Lol. My book is infamous on the FRR site.
So if Seafox don't get their own way watch what happens next.
Where are the sales to satisfy your order, or are the MM's sat on a big wad of shares?
