Former CF holding and/or Seafox stock loaned out - struggling to think of any other rational reason for this price action, SBB.
Bid 9.7p
Maybe the company that took all those CF shares are lending them out to short ?
We are at the mercy of tiny auto trades. This SP can't go anywhere...
opening up (again).
Yea great confidence today tbh from the AGM re the restructuring of the board, better governance and restructuring of our loans ....
Nice rise in the SP today.
Again these wierd small automatic trades are happening, keeping the price down. Hopefully we shall see at least some rise across the week.
They seem very confident to reach agreement on the finance and meet the convanent stress test s due next month. Only a handful of PI’s
Good, confident RNS, hopefully we should see real and proper value return to the SP. I’m at the AGM will update the board later.....
Nice & timely - Looks good.
A quality outfit - just needs to get this bloody financing out of the way pronto!
It is encouraging. Let's hope they have what it takes to turn the company's fortunes around.
Yes we are priced to go bust but this appointment along with the recent Ned appointments would indicate that others see the company having a bright future.
Took their time but things shaping up a bit better now. Then again its difficult to get someone with the right experience. Looking up!
The company that took all those shares at 18p might have lent that stock out to shorters to get price down and then a cheap take over offer in ?
Couldn't have put it better myself.
It's bonkers.
That is some thick spread... The carnival continues.
Thanks evenstevens. I am relatively new to investing so still learning all these market tricks. It does seem that the share price is slowly edging up. Really hoping some good news comes out of the AGM.
Market Maker/BOT tricks? - I wish I could explain it, Simgod but this share has been pushed around for many weeks now, often without any apparent reason. We won't get to find out at least until Monday. All I do know is that the Offer/Ask price was showing as 17.5p on Financial Times website, but showing as 13.3p elswhere???
Can someone explain to me please what's going on with that trade at 16.45 for 13.35p? Why would anyone buy just 5 shares?
13.35p - It may even open up markedly higher again on Monday - Offer Price at close appears to be 17.5p but do check I'm doing this on the move!!!
Your guess is as good as mine as to what is currently going on! Could well be moving back to 13p +
I was on the point of giving up here and selling my remaining holding, however I have changed my mind and bought a few more after todays announcement.
I do not believe that they would have been able to attract directors of this calibre unless the future looked reasonably good.
Best of luck.
This one has surely reached its bottom now, hasn't it? May well rise into the AGM on 28 May. Previously made steady progress into the 20's, but think will rise much more sharply this time around if finance terms favourable.
In my 6 months of investing, the action in this stock IS the strangest thing I've seen so far. In other stocks I don't see many (if any now I think about it) automatic trades. With GMS there seems to be absolutely loads. Also to see such a huge sell volume and yet the sp stays the same. This is so confusing. Still I'm stuck with an average around 20p so nothing really matters unless this stock can make some kind of significant recovery...
