6.48 on what ?? is an RNS logged?
6.24p ......................
That's the spirit Luke.
Pays ya money's ya takes ya chance.
Hope we don't get screwed!
Remember this at much higher levels. Decided to have a punt at risk reward but also like this for offshore renewables growth and oil picking up. Hope we don’t get screwed.
I think at some point, investors feel that this is going nowhere, and decide to sell. - or they need liquidity - or found better risk reward. I mean, we are almost at the 1year anniversary of the bid, and we are still below that bid price! I do agree that its worth holding longer as there is clearly upside, and provides a very compelling risk-reward scenario. I just don't know about who the incremental buyer would be at 10 or 20 or 30p, unless they can clearly show that the debt issue is behind us and we are looking at stable or growing EBITDA - sugarcoating the extension of the debt talks for the Nth time won't cut it
Again, the volumes sold are really not much, so wouldn't read much into it.
4corners - Surprised because if you have been holding for 3/4/5/6+ months... what is another few weeks and if you were going to sell you would so into a rise not a fall.
That said... I cannot get a buy quote.
Well....."good vibe" and "positive" statements were not expected to do the trick - need to see the concrete plan to get any buyers in. Ideally there is only one buyer - SF & friends. In the meantime, there are plenty of sellers, some of whom are probably just tired of holding this
I will be doing the same.
Surprised to see this down in the mid 5’s again.
Par value @ 10p and refinance is on route... accounts are solid if they manage to renegotiate decent terms.
Market obviously doesn’t trust them but so far little reason to think they are acting dishonestly.
topped up 5.47.
I agree - the wording and tone was the first thing that struck me. It sounds more definitive and confident - less cautious and tentative. I suspect they are pretty much almost there....
I managed to get a small one through... I will probably pick up a few more next week if we haven't moved up.
Looking good here imo.
Camkite Yep i have 6.49 on Barclays , but only for small quantity.
We might start rising if they had any shares to sell....
Can anyone else get a quote ?
Does look good... also sounds like we might hear something this month... next couple of weeks ??
If MGMT pull this off... its worth 30p all day long.
I too think the latest RNS has a good vibe to it.
I've pulled out the relevant wording from the last three RNS on the extension, see below. Today's announcement sounds like they are almost there and it's just a few minor details that need to be ironed out (IMHO).
Mar 1st - Discussions with the banks remain positive and the Company is confident that an agreement, favourable to both GMS and its lenders, can be reached in the near term.
Feb 1st - Discussions remain positive, yet not conclusive, and the Company continues to believe that there is a reasonable chance to reach an agreement in the course of the coming weeks.
Dec 31st - The Company is pleased to report that discussions have been positive, yet not conclusive and the Company anticipates that there is a reasonable chance to reach an agreement in the course of the coming weeks.
Now, let's see if it has a positive effect on the SP :)
No default
Is it me or does this have an even more positive feel than last month update. Like the word "Confidant "
"Discussions with the banks remain positive and the Company is confident that an agreement, favourable to both GMS and its lenders, can be reached in the near term. "
Some news on the (rumoured) Zakher Marine deal
https://www.rivieramm.com/news-content-hub/news-content-hub/sector-downturn-forces-liftboat-sales-at-distressed-prices-63642
Sunday is the first day of the working week in the ME, so we might get some news then, but it's odds on that it'll just be another extension - standby to standby, very typical of the oil field :)
I don’t think they will allow a roll over into April.
Rollover, by atleast a month. Its the weekend in the UAE where GMS is based, so if there was news, it should have been out by today morning.
Si547 - Why's deal done ?
I expect to see the price move before the RNS comes out, too many parties involved to keep a lid on it.
Nope.....deal done I reckon.....
