That’s southeastlad........... hope u get there soon
Or.....as iv just noticed in Westlads post quoting the RNS....."within the month" :-)
Either way, not far off
I posted this a while back, I'm sure there's enty of holes in the logic and unknown variables, but I'm using this time scale as a rule of thumb for EM data
"Using Kavango as a peer comparison it did its phase 2 EM survey of its tenures on KSZ, scanning linear 2000km by helicopter
Commenced: 20th Jan 19
8 weeks
Complete: 18th March 19
11 weeks
3d imaging data processed by Skytem: 5th June 19
GLR
Over 3200 linear km
Commenced:17 Sept 20
6.5/9 weeks
Complete: 31st October with preliminary results 23rd Nov
3d imaging by Spectral Geophysics: TBC
11 weeks data processing = 8th Feb
11 weeks+50% = 15th march
(+50% as our linear survey is longer (3200km vs 2000 kav) so 50% more data)
So assuming Spectral are performing the same analysis that Skytem did for kavango I'm hoping to see results from the KCB survey in the next 3-4 weeks"
Now a week or 2
The copper belt is where the money is cb knows this so all efforts will now be put into this. This will probably do an XTR. CB owns many shares here.
Excellent C7, thanks for the insight
Billy - I have been evaluating magnetic data, and many other types of Exploration data for 30+ years. Many, many possible reasons for delays - 1) Technical - magnetic data, as with many other types of subsurface data, may have to be reprocessed several times to optimise the ore body signature, 2) Tactical - Wise explorers will refine, buff and polish their evaluation results before shouting about a game changer discovery, 3) CB has a history of optimistic timelines - there was an instance last year when CB promised drilling by a certain date, I posted a message on this BB saying not possible, CB referred to and pushed back against my post in a podcast the following day, and turns out I was bang on with my prediction!
Investors that like very predictable, low risk, transparent, get rich quick investments, should get out of GLR.
Investors that understand resource projects, and the uncertainities, pitfalls and riches that come with them, should be hoovering shares at this bargain price.
I still own around 1% of the company, and as an experienced and successful explorer, am very happy to hold until at least 10 wells have been drilled into the KCB dome.
Only invest in what you understand.

We still thinl 6p is possible?
There is probably one thing that all can agree on is that GLR won’t be appearing on Zack Mir’s share talk heroes for a while! All trends blown apart for a while!
I think the sheer fact they are going ahead with an expensive drilling campaign and asap proves the surveys have shown we are sitting on a large amount of copper! In addition sandfire wouldn't just part with £3 million for no reason!
I know what i'm like, i will ride it to at least 12p if possible. Then i'm retired to the Alps!
A sniff off copper and that 6p will present you with a dilemma, take it or ride it
Verbatim from yesterday's RNS.
The results of the Heliborne-EM geophysical surveying are sufficiently robust that the Company expects to announce the commissioning of initial reconnaissance drilling program within the month. The Company has also identified two further areas for Heliborne-EM geophysical surveying.
We know there's an RNS coming when the drilling is formally announced. This may or may not include details. Not sure what comfort this will bring as the decision to drill has been taken, and CB was clear yesterday that this has huge potential to be a standalone mine. Further two sites to by surveyed.
Then we are proving up ALL our assets in 2021, to one extent or other.
Can't say i was that impressed by the volte face yesterday but i do accept his hand was forced, and he has done what i wanted aside from that which is drill everything because we now have enough money.
The 6p target was more than enough for a lovely retirement, i was more disappointed with putting that off than anything else!
I'm still in.
What you mean by that
I'm not, I'm just curious why the magnetic survey has not beem released its 3 months late??? I have alot of my money in here it would just be nice to know. Even a simple mention of it in an interview that the results are good
The unsubstantiated fearmongering
In the words of a famous investor “be greedy when others are fearful”
Sorry what are you getting at
If it outstanding the news has to be released at some point. If the copper grades are better than expected it could be the making of GLR. Would be great if Colin gave another interview to explain the great news.Nice try Billy the Kidder
