I think it was Billy who was on the not that bad - ive always had the faith here. You always get ups and downs with AIM. So long as the fundamentals are sound we will all reap the rewards. 300k per month is awesome I think - not as good as 12 million per anum, but then we have none of the hassle that goes with it. If someone asked me if I wanted 300k a month for bugger all, I would snatch their hand off lol
HD ......surely, given time to reflect, yesterday's news wasn’t that bad “cracking” maybe not but $300,000 per month buys a lot of eggs and you can’t make an omelette without cracking a few.
Hold tight mate, all is not lost.
GLA
Datacheck I agree as well and we know CB likes a deal
Amen to that Datacheck.
I think you may be right DC. Ultimately Sandfire want what we have. I cant wait to get drilling to prove what we sit on - extremely excited about the dome too! This is all moving towards KCB being our main focus really I think. Ka****u will be sold off as well I think with similar terms andGlenover is also heading that way. All giving us nice chunks of cash.
I have to admit, i do wonder why some people posting here are still invested in GLR. Alot of research is being done, but there are a few who just arent happy with the research outcome or feel it isnt useful for future planning of their possible investements, meaning the BB has just become a moaning centre........a far cry from what it was. If you dont trust CB, you dont think the revenue is enough, you dont like the current assets or possible future they may have, then why still be here?
If you do still beleive there is value to be had, then suck it up, stop argueing over who said what, pull you adult pants on and look how you can safegaurd your investement as we move into drilling the KCB. My theory is we are moving for an all out takeover by Sandfire in the future, like MOD resources.
I get people are dissapointed we didnt get our $60m, we all are.
Any chance we can get the drill out of the downstairs cupboard a bit faster Colin? We could do with some cracking news :)
Phoenix,
Please read my posts again and highlight any where the tone was not that I was concerned about the implications available but hoping that it would be ok.
Ella just read your own posts over last few days. It will be all clearer. In fact only yesterday you went from negative to positive to negative again. As I said nothing wrong with changing emotions but then jwoz comments were not out of order either.
Ella - Just that it 'seemed' you were the one were pulling someone up / reprimanding them for being concerned about SZ being monetized.... which is the exact opposite of what played out yesterday as monetizing the asset is literally what's happened.
Hi Phoenix,
Could you please elaborate on the following statement
"Ella you changed your tune few times. "
To be fair to jwoz
Ella you changed your tune few times. Nothing wrong with it. Investing is about adjusting sails according to the wind. Majority of AIM companies are built up skilfully by CEOs moving pawns tactically. CB is well known. I remember share price of XTR was in fraction of pennies before CB joined. JLP went from tens of millions to hundreds of millions. He sold Kiwara for 157 millions. He is the biggest shareholder here. As I keep saying repeatedly it’s a risk of investing in certain parts of the world. Future earnings from Star zinc alone justifies the current market cap. As he said yesterday on the podcast Kalahari/Sandfire/Ferber/Glenover/Ka****u is a free carry at this share price.
Anyways let’s see what next 4 weeks brings. Good luck all.
jwoz,
I'm not sure what you mean by " a day of reprimand"?
Ella - i was compelled to go looking.... Oddly, There was a day of reprimand where you said this not so long ago.....

Westlad,
It seems someone has permission to mine our zinc. I'm assuming we will get some money for it so I see that as good news. What are your concerns - I assume you looked at the report I pointed to earlier and are happy this is the location of our zinc resource.
some things cannot be discussed openly for obvious reasons and there were no firm promises on exactly what route was being taken from what i can tell. pretty sure that this option was always on the table along with others. they were working to resolve how to get SZ into mining, the ZInc out of the ground and for GLR to be well rewarded for doing so. which is what they have achieved.
many ways to skin a cat but seems to me like they found a painless way...
Ella10, in fairness, the comms from the company have been good recently, within the framework of what CB can legally say at any given time I feel he's done a good job of keeping us in the loop re asset progression.
I can't speak for how some of the more long termers feel about communication over the years but I'd say it's been really good of late with multiple RNS's/interviews, certainly since you the date you created your account on LSE in mid November 2020.
Very very slightly...
It is not the outcome that I am really annoyed about (although that is not great). It is the lack of communication especially from investor relations and misleading emails and podcasts
