Lets get one thing straight. These interviews are not Jeremy Paxman. They will be briefer beforehand and if there is something they dont want to discuss, you can bet your dollar that they will tell the interviewer. If people get 'grilled' they wont come back and the channel will lose a big part of its audience.

Stock Prices watered down by placings after placings and projects that go round in circles- meanwhile Colin Bird lives in the tax free luxury in UAE and indulges in expensive race horses.
Time he became CEO of BZT- SP 0.5….now 0.1
Time he became CEO of XTR- SP 10...now 3.65
Time he became CEO of Galileo 7.38...now 1
Ok. Gla
Iky … what you are attempting to do is compare actions relating to two different projects and assume the outcome will be the same.
Given so many other factor are differen with the only similarity you have is the lack of communication.
However to conpare this we have SFR who are essentially in control and as such that is a very clear indication as to who is controlling the communication.
I see only a very positive situation from this silence given the economic and political sensitivity for such a valued mineral.
GLR is a tiny company compared to SFR who have a stake in GLR and have paced a muzzle on CB for a very good reason.
It is very obvious any journalist could ask about the project but do not … that should confirm all we need to know.
Whowrotethis.... im not comparing concordia to kalahari AT ALL. I'm comparing the silence. In the past cb went very quite before dropping bad news. What's the problem with me making known cb does have history of such moves?.. I'm heavily invested here so i also get hit if things went wrong WHICH I DON'T BELIEVE THEY WILL. Anyway I drop my case here, im in it to win like the rest and i do believe in glr IF ANYTHING MORE THAN THE CONCORDIA DAYS. Goodnight all.
Nice to see the rise holding. Forget about all the copper in the Luansobe cores, it's a shame we don't have a photo of someone standing on the Mufulira licence, taken from the Luansobe licence.
Iky … it might have something to do with your ability to flit from positive to negative in a short space of time.
Only last month you stated Colombo had some validity in their rants over Concordia which are completely unfounded.
Kalahari is a totally different situation with SFR enganged in a mammoth drilling program and has first refusal over GLRs remaining licences.
Linking Concordia with Kalahari has no validity at all.
Guys/galz I didn't say anything wrong.. just simply put it out there what's happened in the past and very similar to cb staying quite re progress of concordia until sz. Thats all NOT a deramp.
Don't understand why many get their knifes out on a simple post of mine, those of you who were around few years ago can admit it played out how i said in my previous post...
But yes we are IN MUCH BETTER POSITION NOW, and YES WE WILL ALL HOPEFULLY MAKE GOOD MONEY ( God willing). But come on please, if someone says something a little different from all the positive posts recently, dont beat them man. It was a simple post me comparing events thats all. P.s i was quite yesterday because i seen these rises too often in last 3 months and its not sustained.. i rather see a concrete increase AND YES I KNOW NOTHING GOES UP IN STRAIGHT LINES. Anyway itl be all good. Happy days!
We have a major player with a huge war chest of cash having seen survey results of our main targets now exploring T17 in more depth which has already been proven to display all the signs of the A4 dome results. Very exciting indeed, and yet we still have some outstanding projects aside from that. This company is a no braoner in my opinion..I feel that Galileo is going to make a lot of people very rich - myself included hopefully
And it all goes back to the SFR requesting first right of refusal having already likely seen the initial survey results!!
Also iky, as someone mentioned earlier mm I think, if SFR were sure there wasn't anything of value, whatever they hadn't spent of the 4 million exploration money would have been returned to us already. Yet they are still spending /exploring. Speaks volumes in my opinion
Seems odd Iky that even the journalists are not asking about Kalahari … you are way off the mark with your comment as nothing stops a question about how thing are going except a Non disclosure agreement giving SFR are pouring in millions.
As much as we all hope and expect the kalahari to be a success for glr, and with all recent predictions of why the silence, we can't completely rule out that it maybe possible its not as fruitful to us. Going back a bit cb DID NOT mention the failure of concordia until he had star zinc lined up, once star was confirmed to the market and they excitement started only then did cb drop the concordia bombshell. With glr sitting on few possibilities of stand alone projects, it could be possible for deja-vu. This is not meant to be a negative outlook but a little realism to other possibilities. Hopefully its just cb being told to stay quite for good reasons, personally I don't see why he can't say anything at all to shareholder's... anyway not much any of us can do. Gla
My bet is that SFR will buy the whole lot off us in Botswana/KCB they are just proving up exactly what we are sitting on to put in a fair offer including perhaps up to $80million if the tonnage is good. So $80mill plus a fair offer for all of our remaining licence area. That is possibly why it now has no mention as Colin is intending to offload the lot for a handsome profit. Either that or maybe SFR are thinking of buying us out completely. Who knows ? He has done similar deals before with Quantum.
I totally get that we should not know details, just a simple confirmation as to why radio silence. Silence is hopefully going to turn into very good news
Quite.
If 'our' best interests are served by getting a deal with SFR, and if regulations on disclosure (ahead of their DFS) required SFR confidentiality then our best interests are served by keeping that confidentiality.
I'm working on that you can often read more into something by what people don't say than what they do - and Bird's silence speaks volumes to me.
Take it the other way; if our KCB tenements were duds then SFR would have handed over the balance of the £4m to GLR and we move on. That has emphatically not happened.
I thought the interviewer seemed surprised he didn't say Luansobe
He must be gagged but surely he should be allowed to say that he is contractually bound not to discuss it. Shareholders have a legal right to know, if not the info the reason why there is none. Rather than us having to speculate about an NDA
There's no doubt that any comment on the KCB is strictly off-limits for Birdie.
Listen again to the interview below.
@06:24 CB is directly asked where geographically are the main assets in Galileo.
CB immediately replies, 'Zimbabwe and Zambia' - full stop, that's it.
No matter that he qualifies Glenover (in SA), there is NO mention of Botswana or KCB or SFR.
100% staged question, 100% Birdie is under a gagging order - and that can only mean one thing.
