and save some money . It makes no sense to me and when the dust settles this will be seen as a positive imv.
Bev, I 100% agree with your post and prediction. I have now bought 4 tranches at/below £8 and expect to be in profit by closed. Fingers crossed.
Unlike the Persimmon board, with the disasterous Fairburn debacle this one has shown real mettle in standing up to their over- greedy CEO.
This epitomises the behaviour of a sound board acting in shareholder interests and very refreshing to see.
More fool the market makers for not realising that this is a positive not negative event.
As always , value will out given time for mature reflection-meanwhile sieze the 0pportunity IMHO.
expecting another 5% here today
So the sp falls - madness- I have just bought because the sp will recover v soon imho.
This is a phenomenal company. Consistent yoy revenue and profit growth. Land they own will be worth a fortune. I am confident this will have a market cap over £1bn in the next few years. Bulletproof business model.
I like this slow creep upwards. Wish I hadnt sold some last year..!
Irrational move after AGM purely based on Brexit uncertainty
Fundamentals for this company couldn't be much better ... a couple earning minimum wage in the North East could take out a mortgage on one of these homes and still pay <1/3 their income to finance repayments
What happened today? Have never seen such a movement in price in one day cannot see anything in company news to warrant this
That will do until base sets up again.
as indecision showing on charts
Good for you up another 4% today.
Good for you up another 4% today.
I have been in for 18 months. A good Simon Thompson recommendation.
Yes Sir, been in many years now
Anyone holding?
Buying very soon
Somebody wants this company.
He still has about 13% of the company
Was that not Harwood selling 1.5m ?
That's about 3% of the shares in issue.
Well run company with solid results in both areas of the business which were separated when the business was restructured a couple (?) of years ago. I believe this makes the firm a natural take-over target in the current positive house building environment and at this stage in the cycle, and a good fit for some of the big boys, happy to be a LTH in the meantime with a 3.5% Yield !
You can't ask for more. !.They set a target of 1000 new homes\year...have met that and are now aiming for 2000/homes/year within 5 years.
Another nice 5% increase this morning against the days general house builder trend. With the announcements from Bovis / Galliford this morning perhaps an alternative t/o is on the cards ? GLE restructured the company a couple of years ago apparently making it a more attractive t/o target.
I like the increase in dividend ! as well as the encouraging progress
