GKP latest presentation regarding the 2 production facilities caught my eye, it say's they currently have a nameplate capacity of 20,000 bopd each, does this explain why we can only produce around the 40k bopd.
Both had maintenance and debottlenecking in June/Oct 2019 to to increase capacity to a a combined total of 55k bopd, so surly the nameplate capacity should of changed to 55k.
Eyebrows were raised when news released that when SH 12 came online with 4k + in Nov, why the total was only just above 40k when in sept it was just under 40k bopd.
Everhopeful
I see what's getting you confused
The diagram is wrong. . . From PF-1 the 16" Pipeline "does not" go straight to the Export Manifold
Instead the 16" Pipeline goes directly into the PF-2 compound and into the PF-2 Export Station where the Oil is mixed with the Oil from PF-2 . . . then the Oil comes "out" of PF2 via a 24inch Pipeline, which then goes 400mtr to the Export Manifold which is part of a very large Export Facility with Tanker unloading Facilities and a 36" maybe larger tie-in Manifold on the Main Pipeline, which may be 48"
When that Export Facility & Manifold was being built, I was posting screenshots from satellite imagery, but now Screencast or Jing limits the amount of stored images to 12 months, so I no longer have them and can't retrieve them easily
But if you care to go back through my 2018 posts, possibly 2017 posts, you may find the screencasts, which isn't to difficult on here, but almost impossible on 2i where they definitely are.
Everhopeful
The "export" Stations are part of the two Production Facilities . . in the same compound.
PF-1 Oil goes into PF-2 compound where both Productions jointly go into the PF-2 Export Station . . . which is "why" with "up to 75,000bpd coming out of the PF-2 Export Station the Pipe line to the Main Oil Pipeline . . . is 24 inch

"there are plans to add another well to PF1 is my guess."
Future plans for more wells have been covered as well.
https://www.screencast.com/t/xUsm86EZjLYA
By proximately there is SH-J & SH-M on the same Drill Pad, and possibly SH-K & SH-G which may go into PF-1 or PF-2 depending on the terrain.
Then there is SH-L which is being drilled on the same drill pad as SH-i as we found out in the latest Presentation.
https://www.screencast.com/t/ctiOpfnJ
But as we have seen with SH-H & i going on the same drill pad, everything is subject to change to minimise Capex.
And when the FDP is passed by the KRG, no doubt we'll get more info more new wells to chew on
Yes but the PF1 pic shows a 16'' pipe after the export sta only , where as PF2 shows a 12" pipe prior to the export Sta .
But that Sta is 44k capacity while PF1 is 60 , so the pipe prior to the Ex sta at PF1 must be 16 " I guess?
"On the PF1 pic they have not put the size of the pipes like they have on PF2 , clearly not telling us everything"
https://www.screencast.com/t/apUul05P
The screenshot shows that GKP have included on the diagram the size of the Feed Pipe, 24inch, to the Main Oil Line
Thanks for your observations Mikey , I'd not bothered looking that closely.
On the PF1 pic they have not put the size of the pipes like they have on PF2 , clearly not telling us everything , there are plans to add another well to PF1 is my guess.

Theoryman.
PF-1 has already hit 55,000bpd some time ago, and I have seen somewhere that PF-1 has a through put of 60,000bpd and PF-2 has a throughput of 40,000bpd.
But I have had a look for the info on the GKP website and I can no longer find it, so its unconfirmed
The reason I asked the question was to establish whether the av production figures for Nov and Dec 2019 were limited by production issues or processing limitations or if not those, then some potential unknowns.
If the field was producing 40kbopd at the start of September and another 4kbopd came online in October, why were they not in the region of 44kbopd rather than just 41kbopd?
However, the lowest av for 2020 is projected at 43kbopd. This should quate to the worst case scenario where there were zero complete months at 55kbopd, so that would be 43kbopd for the other 12 months.
Taking the highest projection of an av 48kbopd, where might this come from? If it the work was completed in early Q3, then I have allowed for 5 complete months at 55bopd. And guess what that implies for the other 7 months?
It comes out at the same 43bopd.
Given that they actually have a proven success rate of hitting the guidance targets for production, I am feeling a bit more positive than I was.
Seeing those figures for Oct, Nov and December did cause me some concern, it even ended up with BB’s projected income from the 4 remaining invoices being HIGHER than mine!
The original max combined throughput was 40kbopd.
Does anyone know what their max capacity is at present as a result of the work that has been done?
